This seems to be an exciting and poignant memoir. It details the author's growth from adversity to self-discovery shaped by uncontrollable circumstances. To learn more about how her story unfolds, pick a copy of this memoir. Thanks for the review.

Probably a true life story, that this book serve as a lesson more especially for those parenting and those considering to start parenting.
The book gives idea of how to deal with childhood situations that may seem to kill our true self from within.

After reading the review, I would definitely recommend it to my friends who are raising a teenager. The reviewer made a good analysis of what he liked and what he didn't. And why. Many thanks for the review.

Experiences have a lasting effect, particularly on impressionable young people. Undoubtedly, it is the duty of parents as well as educators to make sure that they are protected physically, mentally, and emotionally at all times. This information will assist many in similar circumstances to overcome the challenges. It will also serve as a parenting guide. Congrats on the author's BOTD victory!

A very beautiful review and you are absolutely right. Parents should not neglect their kids. We are seeing how that affects children and thankfully, these children have grown up to be the next parents and are trying to overturn the trauma that they had felt. Good luck to the author of this book.

Xandria, was a victim of circumstance and suffered as a result of circumstances that were outrightly beyond her control. These uncontrollable events went on to shape her mindset and influence the decisions she took in the course of her life.
I FEEL THIS. It’s something I know ALL TOO WELL. Then again, who doesn’t understand and know the ins and outs of self-discovery and taking the very personal journey that is life? Not to mention if we’re taking a mental health standpoint. I can already tell (or hope, at least) that this book is plentiful in relatability and is very much grounded in the reality of its characters. Well-done review!

Childhood memories are always the most memorable and impactful. Parents should never neglect their children irrespective of how busy they are. I would love to read the book as it seems it gives you a perspective from a child’s point of view.

The difference between taking and giving, and taking and not giving is the difference between life and death.
