I think the experiences a person goes through leave a mark on the person. It may be possible to see this trace in future generations as well.

Congrats on BOTD!
Experiences have a lasting impact, especially on vulnerable youth. Parental and educational responsibility to ensure their physical, mental, and emotional safety is unquestionably owed at all times. Many facing comparable situations will find this knowledge helpful in overcoming the obstacles. As a parenting handbook, it will also be useful.

Xandria was "a victim of circumstance" per the reviewer. Obviously, her mother wasn't in tune with many of the things children face in life. I agree with the reviewer that parents should take more notice of what their child is facing, and definitely should know who their children hang out with! This sounds like an excellent book to open the eyes of some parents. Times have changed and children face a whole different set of issues than their parents did when they were young! Very nice review!

A heartfelt memoir of an American woman's adventurous life journey, the world travel, the relationships, and the inner turmoil she must come to grips with as she grows and matures and reflects on her life so far. Something we can all relate to and empathize with. The story is enthralling, and I could not put it down until I had finished it.
