The experiences she has lived through call on the author to share the importance of parental involvement and awareness of whom their children spend time with.

I am really sorry for my ignorance, but is Ashley Becker-Whipple someone famous? Because I am confused why anyone will be interested in the "detailed account of the author's life "journey" from childhood to adulthood" if only it didn't result in the creation of some art or any other form of invention. Apologies, I don't mean offence to anyone, but I prefer to pass this book.

From the title, I can already tell the book is meant to motivate the girl child. Women are more vulnerable in our current society, and it is time someone spoke out. Thanks for the free copy. I look forward to learning something from the author's story.

Thank you for an insightful review. I find your comments about how important it is to actively parent based on your reference to Xandria's mother in this particular story. I find this so relevant as being a parent I notice this to be a common issue in society. I believe alot goes on that requires a parents guidance. Indeed , sometimes some things can leave a mark on a child forever, affecting them in adulthood. I am curious to find out Xandria's story simply based on your assessment of her upbringing.

I agree parents should be mindful of whom they leave their children with and the way they treat their children shapes their future. Great review.

Honest review. I liked the sample, though I am not a fan of Christian books. The style is simple, the plot interesting, Xandria- a unique character

"The Journey of an American Woman" by Ashley Becker-Whipple is a beautifully written book that delves into life's unpredictability and the profound transformations it can bring. It serves as a detailed account of the author's personal evolution from childhood to adulthood, symbolizing the journey of self-discovery and finding one's path to happiness.

It's good to listen to kids and hear their perspective on things. While often small kids can't properly express themselves, a guide like this book can help parents to understand. I agree parents should listen to their kids to distinguish between problems and tantrums.

The most prevalent lesson in this book is that parents should do better. They should be mindful of who they let their children associate with or who they expose their children to and the people leave their children with.

From the review, it sounds like the author used her journey to spread a positive message that it encourages parents to do better. Many forget that children are heavily impacted by the world around them and that what happens in their childhood they can carry oft life. I think the message this book is trying to give is good, and considering that the book is well written, I believe that this book is one that deserves to be read. Congrats on BOTD!
