Awesome review! It’s been a LONG while since I last indulged in a fantasy novel and this might be one to break that streak. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one featuring angels and vampires together in such a way (hybrids of the 2, maybe? but not partnered) and it’s surprising I haven’t until now. Not to mention, this seems to also blend in some other meaty genres (i.e. sci-fi, romance, mystery, action). If this is as well-written as the reviewer claims it to be, then I’d anticipate this to be an enticing read from start to finish. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

Azshael's inner conflicts and obligations of this story follows two opposing squads, Serrate Lytta and Azshael, as they attempt to solve the murder of Succae's elite especially since the murder appears to be similar to Azshael's dead lover. I am looking forward to seeing how Azshael makes out. Will there be another war or not?
