The book Not the Only Ticket: An Autobiography by Aaron Molock is the story of a man named Moe who started life with his mother and three siblings. He started his early life with a love for basketball and baseball. He could not pay for the registration fee, and his mother is not in a financial position to help out. The father was nowhere to be found. He later tried to play football but was told to stop due to the football accident that happened to his brother. He then enrolled in the Air Force after the second try. This move was motivated by the need to provide for his wife and child. He encountered obstacles in his marriage, but he unshackled from that setback and moved in with his college girlfriend. He progressed through his rank and became happy for himself and his family with the experience that success is not defined by how much money or degree one has but by how you feel about who you are.

Readers will understand that success is no accident. Success is through hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrificing, and loving what you do. You must always have a dream. It is our dream that drives us. You must ask yourself questions to know your passion. Disappointments usually form the foundation of our initial development years, but we must never allow them to define us. We must be careful about how we treat others as it could seriously impact our future.

The book teaches that parental discipline plays a significant role in child development. Life is a journey filled with transitional moments, and it is crucial to recognize when it is time to move forward. Your dream will always be that reality that may cost you everything to go after. Life is a cycle, and the kindness you show to others comes back to you, and sometimes in an even greater measure. Never decide to delay grabbing an opportunity because of fear and uncertainty.

The book has lots of life lessons that will help the reader become a better person. I like the book because of the numerous lessons I learned from it. The book title is the positive aspect of the book; it tells the reader that one can still become successful and maybe even more successful than when they were a professional athlete.

There are no negative aspects to the book. I do not dislike the book. The book editing is perfect. I rate the book Not the Only Ticket: An Autobiography by Aaron Molock 5 out of 5 stars. The reasons for my rating are above. I recommend the book to young adults. If you are passionate about improving your life, this book is for you.
