Charlie is quite an individual that calls for reflective analysis; he’s a rich man who’s faced a lot of tragedy, and feels incomplete in life. This story, coupled with the murder investigation would certainly be a great hook for me; sincerely, my curiosity has been piqued. However, o think that this review somewhat revealed some spoilers, but that’s my personal opinion. Congrats to the author on being the BOTD at OBC

"Charlie's Diner" by Dennis F Killeen portrays the light and the dark sides of Charlie Winters, a successful businessman who had lost his only daughter and his wife. This caused him to have a habit of having a work routine and eating at the diner, where one particular waitress waits on him. His dark side was to use money to destroy a family that reminded him of his loss. This eventually back fired and killed him. This book is good for studying people and learning how to deal with them.

I loved the story building in the first few pages I sampled. Crime seems to be the central theme in the book, and the suspense it creates makes the book attractive to read. Also, from the perfect rating, I guess it's worth the time.

I enjoyed the thorough review. Charlie appears to be juggling his romantic interests, flirting with Flo and playing with Ann at the same time. The unexpected occurrence of Charlie being fatally stabbed is surprising. Curious about the next developments.

The story was interesting but the way in which the author had the characters speak drove me crazy. Very abrupt and stilted dialogue. The man apparently never heard of a contraction.

Charlie's Diner plot proves how money is root cause of all evils in the world. I felt sorry for Charlie, who has to be killed for just helping the family in the memory of his own dead family members. Will Ann successfully restart her life after the tragedy is what makes this book worth reading. Thank you for insightful review.

In "Charlie's Diner" Ann, the main character suffers a great loss after tragedy of both his husband, Paul and Charlie , a successful businessman who helps them just giving few bucks just after reminiscing his family members death. The character development and plot looks promising showing how greed destroys the life in very dangerous way. Overall good review.

Congrats on BOTD!
Charlie's Diner by Dennis F. Killeen has an original plot, good writing, and a fast-paced read. The "saint" Ann had envisioned Charlie to be was not the person. The story's protagonist is revealed to be Ann. I look forward to seeing her experience. Outstanding analysis.

It appears that the flawed characters bring interesting depth to the plot. Their complexities seem to make for a more relatable exploration of the theme.

"Charlie's Diner" by Dennis F. Killeen is a captivating novel with unexpected twists and turns. It's main message is to maintain faithfulness in marriage whenever seeking help outside. Ann's unfaithfulness leads to deaths, which for sure will haunt her life. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!
