I'm intrigued by the unexpected plot twists and well-developed characters, especially Ann and Molly in Charlie's Diner by Dennis F Killeen. The mix of action, humour, and mystery sounds like a captivating combination.

A very detailed and thorough review that leaves the reader hankering for more. It'll certainly encourages the reader to read the book to find out what happens to Ann and what that mysterious plot twist is. Thank you!

Congrats on BOTD! This genre is my favorite and this is seems to contain all the aspects of an engaging thriller. I can't help but sympathize with Ann and be worried about her future. Will she get caught?

The book is wonderful and tells a rather painful story, especially when you hear about the occurrence of such crimes. I am also curious to know the fate of the criminal. Was he arrested? Did he receive his punishment? I really want to buy this book to know the details of the crime.

The book sounds intriguing. Having a lot of money may be considered a blessing but it is also our bane. Paul and Ann had different priorities concerning money, so Charlie's act of good will led to serous consequences and destroyed a family. It will be interesting to read this book. COngratulations on becoming BOTD!

Charlie Winters seems to have it all, but deep down he feels empty. This highlights the fact that happiness cannot be solely achieved through wealth. Having a strong connection with family can also be a significant source of happiness. Infidelity, on the other hand, can have a detrimental effect on a family, leading to distrust or even the breakdown of the family unit.

Killeen's fiction novel focuses on a generous man named Charlie who eats at the same diner every morning on the way to work. His friendship with Flo, the waitress, drew me in. The plot takes a few unique turns, as infidelity leads to murder. I am curious to see what happens to Ann in her new life. Superb book review!

Charlie only wanted to help a family but was met with a gruesome fate. I wonder how Ann will cope with this and move on, if she is even able to. Thanks for the review!

That was one hell of a twist, but so sad charles dies. But i do like books written in the third person because you get the whole view on what is going on.

It seems Charlie never imagined that giving money to an unknown family would trigger the end of his life. This novel offers a captivating plot with mystery, crime and action.

"Charlie's Diner" by Dennis F. Killeen is one of the very interesting books I've read, at it's genesis we got to know about Charlie a quiet and kept wealthy business man who begun his business from something small to holding big contracts and projects. Further getting to know him and his friend Flo the waitress discovered that he lost his family, first daughter and niece in an accident then few years later his wife to cancer. In all I liked his giving heart helping Flo here and there, good pay to employees and his generous tip to the waitresses without strings attached showed the greatness in him.
The author showed us his change in character one day after observing a new family he noticed in a diner he's used to eating from, first it felt like he's still being a kind person giving out help even when not asked, here where he gave Ann a huge sum if money to help her and family which her husband didn't well utilize then later we see he offered to give more money to the lady at a cost of sexual gratitude which later led to his death caused by Paul Ann's husband all leading to a twisted plot of the story.
In all I loved this narrative story and would recommend it to friends though I didn't like the skip in time it was like the author was rushing to lead us to the end but one the less it a very interesting piece.
