As I was reading your review, I felt that this book is a regular mystery story and then the drastic turn of events is quite shocking. I don’t know whether to feel sorry for Charlie or to feel neutral about his death. I wonder if Ann would get caught at the end of the novel. This book seems like an exhilarating read. The story has lots of twists and turns.

I have already read and liked this book! It was recommended to me by a friend who couldn't stop raving about how good it was - interesting, intriguing, mysterious and awesome all around. To be honest, I was quite skeptical and mostly just wanted to humor her, but surprised ended up enjoying the story myself. However, my favorite part was the people brought to live by very believable characters. Well deserved congrats on BOTD!

The protagonist being killed off is totally an unexpected twist. From the review, there is more to this book than the initial murders. The mix of action, humor, and mystery sounds like a captivating combination. It will be interesting to read this book. Thank you for a well written review.

This sounds like a very tragic novel, as much as I'd love to know how the story ended up at the end of the day, I'm afraid I'd cry a great deal. Anyways. congratulations on winning BOTD!

This well-written mystery story does indeed seem to have an unexpected twist. I can see this storyline turning into a movie. Great review!

The plot is interesting so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out if Ann will escape the law as she tries to forget her traumatic experience which she is partly to blame. Money in this novel seemed to be root cause of the characters’ unfortunate fate.

'Official Review: Charlie's Diner' by Dennis F. Killeen provides the readers with a vivid idea about the action thriller story of the book. It reflects on the positive aspects of the book. The point that the book was a beautiful combination of action, humor and mystery is worth mentioning in the review. Another noteworthy point in the book is that the character development was commendable. Also, as mentioned in the review, the plot of the story is unexpected and lovable. I easily found some grammar mistakes. Other than that, I think it was "dry" and very disturbing.

As a wise man once said, “Money is the root of all evil.” Charlie was lonely and he used Ann's desperate situation to his advantage. Even though Charlie helping the family wasn't a bad thing. His help made things worse than good for them.

Wow. How sad that an act of generosity turned into something so macabre. It's an intriguing plot, and I appreciate a little humor among the grim topics.
Thank you!
