After taking an unscheduled break from reading, coming back to the this meaningful and powerful story was truly overwhelming. Even though I read the sample, I’m am looking forward to reading the full book.

This book seems like it requires a nice quiet space, maximum comfort and tissues too.

I find that the author did a great job of telling Chad’s story through her eyes and it is heartbreaking what this family went through, especially Chad.

Even after all this time, there is a clear impact made in this story.

Chad’s Triumph: The Chad Green Story by Diana J. Meyer is a non-fictional book that narrates about the story of Chad, the author's firstborn, and how he struggled with leukemia. I have seen a family member struggle when she was sick and nothing can be traumatising as such a moment. It creates stigmatisation to the patient and the family at large. A great review but not a perfect read for me. Congrats on BOTD!!!

I recommend it to anyone who finds motivation in other people's stories.
That is definitely me! This review gave just enough information to reel me in and get me interested in knowing the details, so well done! It looks like this one might be a bit of a tearjerker for me. To say that there is plenty of sensitivity, sympathy, and empathy to be had with a story like this is a huge understatement. You can be rest assured that I will go out of my way to mentally prepare myself before diving into this book. Blessings to the author!

I admire the strength Chad and his parents had throughout the entire process. It’s hard to imagine any of us in their shoes. Knowing several people who suffered from leukemia, I could see the love and perseverance Chad’s family had. Thank you for writing such an exceptional review, Melissa!

Losing a child is heartbreaking and what comes with it is hard to describe in words. The author is amazing, to be able to share this in words... And to the reviewer: great review and on point, not too many details but enough to get the point straight. :)

Much like the reviewer I too commend the author on writing a book sharing her experiences. It could not have been an easy story to share. It seems the book could also be read as an memoir. I would like to give this one ago. Glad to see the book was made free today. Thank you for your review!

Such an emotional book, my heart goes out to children who are suffering from serious illnesses and their loved ones. It inspires parents to have courage for the sake of their lived ones and how to go about such a situation.

I'm drawn to the emotional depth and detailed narrative in Chad’s Triumph by Diana J. Meyer wherein she shares the painful journey of her son Chad battling leukemia.

It is very heartbreaking when you see someone you love struggle with sickness, although this is not my cup of tea, as a mother I can relate well with the author, and I know experiencing trials and suffering will only make us strong. Nice review, very detailed Thank you.

Reading the review itself made me sad. I can't imagine the mother's plight. To see her son suffer and not being able to reduce it any way is so disheartening for a mother. I don't know if I have the courage to read this book.

I enjoyed your review of Chad's Triumph. I do not remember reading about this poor family's struggle with the difficulties of caring for a child with a terminal illness. I cannot imagine having a child die. You must feel helpless watching them go through the stages of cancer, and you can't do anything, but stand by and watch.

very challenging book. can’t even imagine the deep sorrow of losing a child. Well done to the author on what appears to be a thought-provoking deep dive into the challenges experience when a loved one suffers and there is little to do about.

The author seems intent on conveying and sharing her emotions about her experiences, successfully resonating with readers' emotions. This effect is achieved through the deliberate, unhurried pace of the book and the meticulous detailing of events.
