The book Snatched Up to Heaven! by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul presents a view of heaven and hell from the perspective of their daughters Priyanka and Deepika. At the time when they visited heaven and hell, Priyanka was four years old and Deepika was only two years old. The descriptions of the celestial and underworld worlds, despite everything, appear very plausible. In the dream, the angels led them to a beautiful location that turned out to be heaven that was far away and hidden in the clouds. The sisters made multiple trips to paradise and hell in the guise of visions. Heaven is described as having a rainbow and being made of pure gold, among other things.

The structure of the book is such that after the portion of the girls' vision, there is a section in which their parents discuss that portion of the vision. In addition to using scriptural allusions, the authors set some of the visions in a context that helps readers comprehend and read the book. A comparison of heaven and hell is made at the very conclusion of the book. The book also includes links to videos of Priyanka’s and Deepika's testimonies about heaven and hell. The book is complemented by several photographs from the family life of the Paul family and several drawings of visions drawn by the children.

The incredible plausibility of the described visions that the sisters Priyanka and Deepika witnessed is what I found appealing about the book. Scenes of vibrant angel wings, stunning tiaras intended for the Paul family, lots of toys, and plants and animals that the two sisters took great care of are paraded before the readers' eyes. I really loved how Jesus is shown as a best friend, a kind father figure, and someone who even engages in playful activities with young sisters. I like that the girls had the chance to view hell in their visions because, by all accounts, it's a stark contrast to heaven. The influence of cartoons and age-appropriate religious teachings can be seen in the visions of the young Priyanka and Deepika. The visions are placed in the correct context by their parents' comments and biblical references. There are only a few typos, which suggests that the book was professionally edited.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. The described visions seem quite authentic and believable, and the book is clearly structured and presented in simple language. Deepika and Priyanka's drawings are also featured in the book because the visual part of the book is heavily highlighted through multiple descriptions.

Jemima and Arvind Paul succeeded in introducing the reader to the visions their daughters had. Believable and authentic descriptions of heaven and hell, the interestingly presented personality of Jesus, and clear and easily understandable moral lessons are the main positive aspects of the book, which I rate four out of four stars.

I recommend the book to parents, educators, and teachers of lower grades interested in the religious Christian education of children. I also recommend the book to readers interested in the topics of heaven and hell.

This novel beautifully blends the mystical with the earthly, creating a narrative that is both enlightening and comforting. I love how the girls were to describe their visions accurately.
