Will Walid, who is highly educated get influenced by Hezbollah's teachings and involve himself in terror attack? Will Lara and Uri be able to avert a terrorist attack? The narrative shift is impressive too. This book is a great suspense thriller added with some romance.

The threat of nuclear bombing and the actions of governments to fight back make for an engaging book that one cannot easily put down. And, if you're familiar with Lara and Uri, you'll want to read this exciting book right away.

The EAST WIND book is a captivating and thrilling adventure where characters feel like old friends and it is just a page-turner only to surprise you with your discovery. Winnick's storytelling is so vivid that one can almost smell the scents of the East and feel the emotions of the characters. It's not just a book but a journey that consumes your attention and doesn't let go. You may end up emotionally invested, turning pages with anticipation, and savoring every word. It's not just a normal story but a story that educates and motivates one about daily living.

I can see Walid in a very tight position here. However, if I were him I'd choose the side that means helping and saving innocent ones. It may be very costly but that's the side that always pays.

It's common for most spy thrillers to be predictable as the plot unfolds. After all, there's often a desire for a heroic ending for the protagonists. Despite this, it's truly a "breath of fresh air" that this book has a fluid narrative from the characters' perspective, urging us to keep reading to understand each character's motives.
I really love this review! It has captivated me to start reading "East Wind"
Sincerely, Adriana Cisneros.

This book is about two special agents, Uri Levin and Lara Edmond, who team up to stop Hezbollah terrorists from carrying out a nuclear bombing on U.S. soil. The book is an exciting espionage thriller. This is the second time I have seen the Uri and Lara Adventures series on Book of the Day! This must be a sign that I should read it. :)

It looks like an intriguing book with a bold plot and lots of action. It may not be my favorite genre, because I don't like anything that has to do with terrorism, but for all those who enjoy this type of reading, I recommend it. I read the samples of this book and for it being the first part it already left me too intrigued despite it not being my reading style.

One side of this story that I would like to know more about is the feuding between government agencies. I have the book to my want-to-read shelf. The novel sounds immensely thrilling, and I look forward to reading it. Many thanks for the review.

“East Wind” by Jack Winnick is a terrorist thriller, book one in the series, that begins in Southern California where a fusion bomb is detonated in the bay and hundreds of innocent people were killed instantly. Lara from the FBI and Uri from the Mossad are called to find the terrorists responsible for this destruction and stop them before they detonate bombs in other U.S. locations. I found this book hooked me from the amazing start and it kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. Lara and Uri are an incredible team that will solve the case and bring the Hezbollah perpetrators to justice. Jack Winnick is an excellent author and his terrorism series is a must read if one enjoys action thrillers. Very good review.

Uri Levin, a member of Israeli Mossad's Special Operations, and Lara Edmond, FBI's skilled Arabic-speaking computer expert, unite to prevent a Hezbollah nuclear bombing on U.S. soil. Meanwhile, Walid Jahangiri, torn between loyalty and truth, faces a pivotal choice when tasked with carrying a fission bomb orchestrated by Iran's Hossein Souriani. Will he align with his indoctrination or aid Uri and Lara's mission to save lives? Pick a copy of this book to find out. Thanks for the review.

The novel sounds really interesting and has all the elements i normally look for. The political satire sounds intriguing since it depicts a feud between countries. This is a great review. I am really looking forward to reading the book.
