Hmmm!!!! I must commend on how courageous and audacious the Writer is to delve into what I called 'Mission Impossible '- the writing journey into contentious and controversial topics, especially about Religion- the person of Jesus. I wonder if the Writer can do the same for the twins brother of Christianity and tread on the slippery ground of 'you-know- what -I'm- talking about'.Facts speak for themselves those who for sake of 'Prosaic poetic liberty' created for themselves more headache than they ever anticipate .
I've read 'Davinci Code series:Angel and Demons', even lay my hand on 'Forgotten books of the Bible', etc So, I'm not speaking as a fanatics. Anyhow, I'm. Still curious on what he has to say about the relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus.
I know Thomas as one of Jesus' Disciples is a Doubter and I'm hoping it won't be different from' Davinci Code' that got me more confuse on how he's able to drive home his 'Heretical 'point. Pray for me that my faith remain strong to withstand the shockwave!

“The Incarnation” by Arthur Telling is a book about Cleopatra’s Story of Jesus. While the author added fictionalized information, it is based on historical facts. Allegedly Mary Magdalene had blood ties to Julius Ceasar and Cleopatra and Jesus had a relationship with Mary Magdalene. The story is based on a collection of texts found in Egypt after WWII. The book is interesting but to write a completely different story about the beginning of Christianity is truly suspect and as a devout Catholic I find it very hard to believe. I also do not believe Thomas wrote a heretic gospel, especially the fact that he did not mention the crucifixion of Christ. I agree with the 3 out of 4-star rating. With all of the religious tension in the world today I do not feel this book should have been published in the past two years. Very good review. I plan to read the entire book so I can compare it to my Catholic education.
