Since this review reveals a lot of information that may be learned from Telling's excellent writing, I would want to read this fascinating book on the reincarnation of Egypt and the early days of Christianity.

I'm always up for reading more untraditional content about Christianity. The reason for this is that I feel that a lot of truths were and still are kept from us. So whether there's hidden truths in this fictional novel or whether it's just a conspiracy/fiction, no one would actually know, except for the people involved all those years ago. I believe this will be a very interesting read. Thanks a wonderfully detailed review.

The book looks at certain teachings of the holy bible we've learnt before now such as the birth of Jesus among others. To get the full content of this write-up, it's recommended open minded people should read them because some are not in tandem to what we know. Though it's worth reading to get the authors historical perspective. Congrats on the botd and a satisfactory review.

Exploring ancient Egypt, early Christianity, and a heretic gospel, 'The Incarnation' weaves a distinctive tale. The author's claim of an overlooked alternate version raises questions, challenging credibility for some readers.

The story of Jesus and Mary Magdalene having a relationship is a rumor that I heard sometime back from some good friends. It is good that I can now pinpoint where the rumor came from. This book may rattle many a Christian due to its departure from traditional biblical narrative. However, I still find it relevant to read the controversial topics that challenge mainstream Christianity mainly for the purpose of comparing them to information contained in the bible and not to be so blind to issues that may shake one's faith.

I don't really have an prior knowledge of this topic being a non-christian nor I ever heard anything related to it but I liked how you mentioned both pros and cons of the book. Great review.

Thank you for your informative review. I did like the style of writing of the author, but like you, I don't believe that everyone would have ignored this version of Jesus if there was any truth to it at all. I am a Christian and I believe what is in the Bible is the truth. Others can believe what they choose, but I would think of this as just a fiction story.

As a Christian, I am aware of the “Non-authorized” versions of the story of the Bible. I have always thought there must be other letters and documents that have different perspectives. I enjoyed the summary and look forward to reading the book as I love the story of Cleopatra and Egyptian history. Fiction is another form of thinking about things that have happened or events told with imagination and a blend of truth and struggles between dark and light. I believe in Gods word but I find I enjoy the debate caused by the author through his blend of research and fiction.

Even as a Hindu, I have always been interested in Christian mythology and prior to this book I saw the same theory being applied by Dan Brown. This topic, no doubt, rises many controversies and scepticism. This was a great review and I am looking forward to reading the novel. Congratulations on the BOTD!

It is interesting to think that Christianity and everything that is known about Jesus may have a different version than the traditional one. I was very surprised when I found out about Jesus' possible relationship with Mary Magdalene and supposedly she had become pregnant, crazy, right? Interesting review!

Well I have a good reading of the incarnation. But my rating would be 3 to 5 stars. If I am to back up my rating, it is because the mentions of characters like the disciple Thomas that he wrote a different gospel that shows no crucifixion of Lord Jesus. And the narrative of this book is to my view fictional which means it will be unknown to nowadays. But all in all I would like to say thank you and appreciate your work and Arthur's effort to present the book to the world.

Arthur Telling's 'The Incarnation' presents a fascinating tale intertwining ancient Egypt, early Christianity, and the Gospel of Thomas. While the alternate narrative is intriguing, some readers might find the storyline farfetched, especially concerning the overlooked radical interpretation of Christianity's origins. Congrats on BOTD.

Arthur Telling's fictitious narrative "The Incarnation" combines the biblical account of Jesus with a historical setting in ancient Egypt. Reading a story that claims Jesus was not crucified makes it seem quite interesting to consider where he may have gone and what good he could have done for the world if he had lived longer.
This great review piqued my interest, for sure.

It sounds like "The Incarnation: Cleopatra's Story of Jesus" offers a unique perspective on historical events, blending elements of ancient Egypt, reincarnation, and early Christianity. The incorporation of the Gospel of Thomas adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.
