I don't think this book would make the same sense without the photographs that it includes. They look carefully chosen and made to provoke a reaction, they don't come with the book, they are part of the book (if it makes any sense to differentiate both options).

The title "Artwords" indicates that the book will contain some images. Visuals play a vital role in keeping readers interested and engaged. The images shown in this book are no exception. They enhance the reading experience and make it incredibly satisfying.

I loved all the photographs added to this book. Played very well along the poems. It brings your mind to the place where poem is.
Seams tacky but actually it was a great use of visual appeal.

I said something very similar on the art work thread. They added only a little, and at times made it difficult to read the poems. I did like the mustard/ketchup one though and liked the imagery.

I agree, often the pictures help to understand the point the author is trying to make. It takes away any doubt words might have.

I think generally speaking, using photographs in a book would improve the overall reading experience especially since it helps the reader relate to the book. I did enjoy the photographs in this book and found it rather more helpful since I could spend time looking at them trying to understand the poem.
