Wade Warren Bergner's "The Mirror Box" , a children's book on the love and loss of a beloved grandparent. The memories we have with our grandparents are invaluable and precious, and this has been beautifully captured by the author, and how to explain a loss and cope with it is beautifully portrayed with very vivid illustration. Thanks for an insightful review.

Thanks for a free copy! The review has already confirmed mystery and suspense, which I badly want to know more about. There is no doubt that Christopher's role in the book will merge with kids. Congrats!

This was a lovely and very helpful review. I agree that the cover and title don’t immediately make you think of grief. If creating a series, like the reviewer suggested, dealing with the loss of a pet would be very valuable.

This is an interesting children's book highlighting death, grief, a mysterious box left to the protagonist by his grandfather, and what might be inside. The boo is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

A short book for children but also for adults, it helps the little ones understand what death is and face it in the best way but it also helps adults to remember that the suffering that death leaves behind is as great as the love we felt for those who leave us.A truly simple but touching book that reminds us how much the people who leave us never really leave us and live on every day in the memory we have of them.

This is the first children's book I encounter that deals with such topics as grief and death. It is both sad and neccessary because it will help kids to go through the hard times in their lives and understand it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The poignant bond between the characters is heartwarming. A series with varied family losses could enhance relatability. Critique: unclear cover may hinder its use as a grief resource for parents, a point acknowledged in the conclusion. Congrats on BOTD.

"The Mirror Box" by Wade Warren Bergner. An interesting book, talks about a boy named Christopher, his grandfather, and a mirrored box. What could be in the mirrored box Christopher's grandfather left behind. This book is a must read for kids and young adults. To always appreciate the time spent with every loved ones. Congrats on on your #BOTD.

I appreciate, as you said, that the author addressed the topic of grief, which is rarely addressed in children's literature. It's a complicated subject, but even kid should learn how to deal with grief. It can help them while growing up.

A children's book that talks about grief is indeed rare even though children also suffer from loss of loved ones. This beautifully illustrated book sounds like a perfect read for children who are finding it difficult to handle grief. The cover is eye-catching and the text is captivating. Congrats on BOTD!
The review perfectly reflects on the the essence of the book. Thank you for sharing this insightful review of this beautiful book.

The illustrations used have a voice of their own, eliminating the need for the author to narrate the story. They serve as the perfect ingredient to captivate children.

Thank you for your great review. I totally agree with what you said about this special book. You're right about the pictures in the book - they're really eye-catching and perfect for kids. The story isn't too long, so it keeps kids interested. It's great how the book talks about losing someone and feeling sad, a topic not often found in kids' books. I also like how it teaches kids to value time with their family, because you never know when you might not see them again. The part where the author helps kids remember someone they've lost is really nice. I agree this book is a great help for kids who have lost a loved one. It doesn't focus on any one religion, so all kids can enjoy it.

Christopher seem like such an interesting characters and I wonder what the mirror box is and how he deals with his grief. Children’s books don’t often talk about topics like this, so I’m curious to see how they Bergner does this! Great review!
