Kelly and Tom Turbulo are a newlywed couple who go on a relaxing honeymoon on an island. Kelly unintentionally stumbles upon a dangerous terrorist group. Being aware of eminent danger, she quickly contacts her brother, Senator McBride, to request his assistance. What's the mission of this group? Why do they plan to attack? Get a copy to find out.

“EMP Honeymoon” by Dorothy May Mercer is a book in the McBride series and can be read independently. The author uses a third-person perspective to narrate the story. I like that the story is fast-paced, and some humour is added to lighten the tension. I'm impressed with how the couple was devoted to protecting the nation’s security, despite being on a honeymoon. It made me realise that very important tasks should be taken care of, irrespective of the situation at hand. Kelly is good at decrypting computers, while Tom is a policeman. Their skills and careers greatly aided the mission.

From this book, I learned the virtue of being selfless, especially in communication with people. The author did a great job of character development because the characters were more realistic and relatable. I equally liked the fact that Cynthia and Sky, two recurring characters, played a role in this particular series.

The book’s fast pace may have been detrimental. It felt like the author was in a rush to finish some scenes because there were times when some cases were left unresolved. However, the answers to most of these questions I had were answered in the epilogue. Therefore, this didn’t affect my enjoyment of this book.

I didn’t notice any errors; I must say the book is expertly edited. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, as there are no reasons to deduct any.

I suggest this book to lovers of action novels, thrillers, and adventure, including books with a touch of humour.

The book's brisk pace occasionally left some cases unresolved, but the epilogue provided satisfying answers, ultimately not hindering my overall enjoyment.

The thrilling storyline and the couple's dedication to national security, even during their honeymoon, made "EMP Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer an engaging read. The book's fast pace and character development were impressive, although some unresolved scenes felt rushed. Overall, a captivating and enlightening story about selflessness and dedication.

To think that Dear Leader thought he would succeed with his leadership skills was quite funny. When you don't treat your subordinates well, the likelihood of being betrayed is quite high. That's what happened to Dear Leader.

EMP Honeymoon sounds like a good thriller novel to read. I'll like to read how their honeymoon is disrupted and how they used their skills to fight terrorism.
