In 'Devil Among Us,' Jack Winnick not only continues the riveting Lara and Uri series but elevates it to new heights. The fusion of a terrorism investigation with elements from other genres creates a narrative that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. Winnick's ability to balance complex plotlines and dynamic characters makes this novel a standout in the world of espionage fiction.

I have always loved thrillers and plots that have twists get me. The Lara and Uri series is a must-read for anyone who craves a good book that involves thwarting the bad guys. A definite read for me. Great insightful review that covers all the fronts even though there are quite a few criticisms.

Particularly, I like crime thrillers, especially spy thrillers. It's interesting seeing on in this sequel. But I find interesting two the Jewish or Religious feature introduced by the writer of the book in the first chapter. It takes you into a world of worshippers and shows how well the writer or authors understands that world.

another masterpiece by Jack Winnick. a fast-paced thriller laced with action and suspense. same two agents in book-1[Lara and Uri trying to solve another puzzle by risking their lives. it also depicts close coordination between US and Israeli agencies which is true even in reality. While these agents travel to different countries author tries to touch upon the culture and legacy of those places gently which is deeply appreciated

The devil among us is another of Jack winnick's creations on the terrorist acts, having a group of people and families all gathering up for service to pray for their departed relatives' souls, a tragedy occured where everything that seemed to be bright ended up shattered to the ground with horror and terror everywhere. This terrorist attack on the Jewish community lead to the reunion often special agents Lara Edmond and Uri to carryout an investigation of a suicide bombing at a New York synagogue which led to the loss of many lives, also leaving others wounded. On earlier investigations carried out to within the first hours after the incident, it led to the pointing to members of a Jewish family as the culprits. With the two agents working together, will they be able to find the lead to all the terrorism acts that are being carried out in different areas, further more we're the suspected culprits really Jews or moslems pretending and learning to act and be like Jews with other terrorist intensions, where could their main leaders be located and are there more if these hiding? All these are the missions for the two agents and their teams needed to carry out and uncover.

This story, as you can clearly see from the cover, mentions Israel being at war after a suicide bombing in a synagogue, which can be something hard to read with everything going on at the moment in the Middle East. Anyway, congrats on BOTD!

While it's not my usual genre, after going through this review and the one for East Wind, I'm gradually becoming intrigued. The book appears to be filled with action and a consistent sense of thrill. I'm curious to see how a narrative crafted a decade ago about threats to Israel resonates with the ongoing unrest in the Middle East. Kudos to the author for earning #BOTD, and a big thanks for delivering such a comprehensive review.

I like that the review included a summary of the first book so that the audience has the backstory of the Lara and Uri series, even though it is a standalone read. The review encourages those unfamiliar with the series to start from the first book. Thank you for the review.

Lara and Uri seem like great heroes in the society . So many casualties exits but they work together as a team to uncover the truth. If Jews can bomb a church, then anyone can do evil. Congratulations on making a booknof the day
