I like the terrorism busting duo Lara and Uri. Terrorism is still a real threat in today's world. Thanks for the review.

The clash between Israel and Hamas has a long history, and resolving it needs every stake holder to sit down and talk. "Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick, though not directly dealing with this issue, is an exciting spy thriller. It doesn't directly talk about the Israel-Hamas conflict, but you can see that understanding the Middle East complexities in the book gives you a broader view of such problems. In the world of spy stories, with secret missions, love, and lots of action, this book has it all, making it a great choice if you're into these kinds of stories.

The reviewer's appreciation for Jack Winnick's portrayal of Middle East complexities is insightful. It's fascinating how the novel explores different positions in Arab countries without slowing down the pace. The negative depiction of the European Union sparks curiosity, making me eager to see how it unfolds in the story.

Your review of 'Devil Among Us' is incredibly insightful, particularly how you note the evolution of Lara from a computer specialist to a more action-oriented role. It's fascinating how Jack Winnick blends different genres into this spy thriller, making it more than just about terrorism. Your mention of the plot's complexity and its reflection of real-world Middle East dynamics adds depth to the novel's appeal. However, your critique of the portrayal of the European Union raises an interesting point about the nuances of international politics in fiction. Great review!

Thanks for the review! It’s good to know that the characters’ relationship develops naturally, making the romantic aspect of this thriller believable and not cheesy. I also appreciate how Lara’s skills and experience develop along a realistic timeline. I enjoy thrillers that incorporate multiple genres and present a fresh and exciting story!

Jack Winnick's Devil Among Us is the second book in the Lara and Uri series. Members of a Jewish family are suspected of being responsible for the suicide explosion at a synagogue in New York that claimed hundreds of lives. Despite not being my usual reading material, after reading both this and the East Wind review, I'm gradually coming around. The novel appears to be full of action and never stops thrilling. Review written and described with clarity. congratulations to the writer on BOTD.

From the review, I understand that the book is about an investigation of a terrorist attack against USA that happened some years back. The review is a pip into the main book.
