“Rudi Caribou” by Donald Burton Smith is a book written for children, Rudi shares the problems a young caribou might face and how they manage to migrate over 1,000 miles per year. The illustrations in the book are well done and will help educate children about this species. Maps are included that identify where caribou live in the world and for someone that does not live in one of these areas this could be their first exposure to this beautiful animal. Readers will learn about the predators that caribou face and the migration routes they take. This is a wonderful book that I will read to my great grandchildren. Very good review.

Picture books have a special way of getting kids interested and sharing information in a cool way. Learning about the journey of young caribou as they move from one place to another not only grabs kids' attention but also teaches them a lot about what herbivores go through.

This is the first time I'm hearing about a book about a caribou. The title really resembled a swahili phrase for me and the fun in it wouldn't be missed by readers of a younger age. I'd love to find out more about them that's why I'll pick up the book.

Often, if not always, we focus on the challenges humans face, overlooking the struggles of other living beings. "Rudi Caribou" successfully makes us realize the difficulties faced by Caribou, shedding light on their challenges.

Seems a lot of work went into this book from the illustrations to the research, and still, the author found a way to make the book enjoyable for the young audiences by making a young caribou the narrator of this book. This sounds like a fun book to read. Well done on the review.

Rudi Caribou by D. Burton Smith is a children's educational book. Rudi gives the reader an explanation of the difficulties a young caribou may face and how they accomplish their annual migratory journey of more than a thousand miles.
The author used a calf to successfully introduce the reader to the caribou species. The fact that the caribou storyteller had a name was another brilliant addition. The artwork in this book is one of its best aspects; it truly deserves all the praise. Caribou have always fascinated and intrigued me because they are not found where I come from.

This is an educational book on the caribou, with great illustrations. There's a lot to learn from Rudi's story, and at the end, there's a part labeled "Things I didn’t know about Caribou - Reindeer." Congrats on BOTD!
