This fantasy novel highlights brave female warriors such as Hrya, the young princess who, at a young age, leads the Phe'lakir troops with great courage and wisdom. The mix of humor, urgency and tension is an appealing feature. It seems like a read that inspires women to develop their potential without gender limitations.

Exploring a novel set in a fictional realm is a delightful experience for readers. The anticipation of discovering which of the queen's children will emerge as the rightful successor adds an intriguing element to the storyline. The portrayal of women as formidable warriors, ready to face challenges both in battles and in life, adds a compelling dimension to the narrative. Delving into the pages is the only way to unveil the secrets and unravel the empowering journey of these characters.

Your review beautifully captures the essence of "Queen of Highwings" by Andri E. Elia. The intricate narrative set in the fictional realm of Yandar Kingdom unfolds with a remarkably courageous queen, whose journey and sacrifice leave an indelible mark on the kingdom. The destiny of the kingdom, carried by the queen's children, adds a layer of suspense and intrigue to the story. I appreciate your recognition of Hrya and Enmiat as standout characters, each embodying qualities of bravery and loyalty. The book's empowering message about transcending gender limitations resonates powerfully, as does the poignant portrayal of homesickness in Hrya. Your thorough praise for meticulous editing, engaging illustrations, and a flawless storyline is well-deserved. I'm glad the blend of humor and emotional depth resonated with you. Thank you for the perfect 5-star rating and the heartfelt recommendation, affirming that "Queen of Highwings" is a compelling read for females of all ages, especially those ready to explore greatness beyond gender constraints.

Your review, Francis, is beyond all praise. I sampled a few pages of this book, and I agree with your interpretation of the book as encouraging females to overcome obstacles - the levitations of little girls, Marisol and Silvia, at a family reunion are one symbolic example of the message this book conveys. I agree with your five star rating too.

This fantasy story, the fourth in the Worldmaker of Yand series, is intriguing. It would be captivating to see if the Phe'lakir people find a new leader from the brave queen's three children. Excellent review. Congratulations on your BOTD!

The book narrates the events of a kingdom that, after a strong injury to its ruler, is left rudderless at a crucial moment, then the children of the ruler, who is the queen, must stand out so that one of them can assume responsibility for the kingdom.

The characters, especially Hrya and Enmiat, along with meaningful moments and the strong message that "Phe'laki women are warriors," make "Queen of Highwings" a really good read. It tells you that anyone, regardless of gender, can be strong and capable. Thank you for sharing this detailed and wonderful review.

This seems like a captivating and daring fantasy novel to read. Losing the queen to a debilitating injury was a great blow to the Yandar Kingdom, but Hyra seems to know the responsibilities that come when she steps up to her mother's role. This is a book to encourage women to step forward and unlock their potential. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

If I understand correctly, this fictional story is about the Yandar kingdom on the planet Phelak where a queen fights with her comrades to unite the Phelakir people until she can't anymore. And now the legacy is left for one of her children. Fascinating!

I know much about Kingmaker, but never heard anything regarding Worldmaker. Only the God himself, but that would be blasphemous to mention the Lord's name in vain. I am not sure I will enjoy such storyline, but alien invaders are interesting to me, so I gratefully accept the gift and congratulate the author on BOTD!
