While this book is definitely appealing to me with the abundance of strong female characters, I think I may skip this book for me. When I get time, I will have to start from the 1st book before moving on to this book.

The story of a remarkable and courageous queen who led her troop fearlessly in the time of betrayal from mutual Friends.
The story became more interesting when the mantle of leadership rests on the shoulders of one of the Queen's three children after she suffered an injury that left her bedridden and unable to contribute to the country's economy. It's left everyone asking questions of who will be the one? Can anyone take up the challenge? Who will shoulder the responsibility of the country? Is he or she old enough to assume duties and so many other questions in people's head.

It was really inspiring when the Queen's young princess exceeds all expectations by taking up the responsibilities at an early age and lead the armies to war. She displayed great courage and wisdom as she lead the troops and fighting like a professional and skilled fighter. Her Decision-making and leadership was greatly inspiring and encouraging as she left the life of luxury to shoulder the responsibility of a country.

The story is a captivating and interesting one it has a lot to teach and learn from it shows a lot of courage, determination, greatness, strength and power.

It is a story that every young girl should be reading, in other to find their inner potentials and to encourage them to break every limitation with courage, strength and encourage them explore the world and everything in it.

In this fictitious fantasy, themes like treacheries, unrest among the people of planet Phe'lak, and the rise of a new leader intrigued me to indulge myself in this fantasy.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story set on an alien planet where the queen of one kingdom is injured and can no longer lead her people in battle against her enemies. That responsibility falls to one of her three children but which one as they each have their own faults. So who will lead the kingdom? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This sounds like a definite read for me!! I like books with strong female characters, as I think it does inspire woman in general, fictional or not. The Queen seems to be an amazing leader and it sounds like her daughter is not far behind. I'm eager to see how the story unfolds. Great job on the review!!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Hyria, the princess of the remarkably Phe'lakir people address the seemingly unsurmountable challenges as she leads her armies to fight former allies. She seems to be a very strong and formidable woman!

The storyline seems conventional, following the familiar narrative of a king or queen subjecting their children to tests to determine the most deserving heir to the throne.

However, amidst the commonplace plot, what intrigues me is the inclusion of powerful female characters in the novel.
