It is a beautiful book about love, magic, and loss. One day, Emily receives a gift from her grandmother.
It is a pair of lobster socks bearing the names Sebastian and Lola, who are friends.
It is one of the children's books that teaches empathy and teaches us how love can unite us.
The story includes beautiful illustrations and portraits of Sebastian experiencing grief to introduce us to.
The book is about some of the stages of grief that a person goes through. This book is recommended for children because they will learn a lot from it.
And also for adults who want to teach their children how to deal with grief.

I am grateful for this book. When I was in Primary school, I learnt about emotions, and the difference between bad and good through Puppet communication. It was much easier to understand through Puppet drama and plays. I believe that children will learn a lot from the book *Sock Lobsters *. Thanks for the wonderful review. Congratulations to the Author for the BOTD!

Sock lobsters is great book to read with your little ones about emotions. The narrative in using the grandma with the sock puppets she made to connect with her granddaughter is so good. It give us adults the reminder that children need these kind of books and also examples in life.

This book explores the topic of grief and loss in a thoughtful and unique way. It also reveals personality traits; one that is optimistic and one that is pessimistic. The story reveals the stages of grief and how easy it is for us to wonder how and why something happened. I liked the illustration on the cover and of the gentle old lady knitting. The colors are bright and cheery so it should appeal to young children. It seems like there is a lot of wisdom to be gained from the way the story is presented for young and old alike. Thank you for the honest and open review and for sharing a personal story.
This book takes a deep and original approach to examining the subject of loss and grief. It also indicates two different personality traits: an optimistic and a pessimistic one. The narrative illustrates the phases of mourning and highlights how natural it is to question how and why something occurred. I enjoyed the picture of the kind old woman crocheting on the cover. It should be appealing to young children because of the vibrant and upbeat colors. It appears that the way the narrative is told can impart a great deal of wisdom to both young and elderly. We appreciate your sharing of a personal tale and your candid and open evaluation.

Having a pair of socks designed in the shape of lobsters is a humorous notion that I find appealing. I appreciate that this comical element serves a purpose in addressing significant topics such as grief. It's admirable to have children's books that teach them how to manage complex emotions.

A nice story for children that talks about the different stages of separation and also reunion. The book tells us about Sebastian and Lola, who like each other, these are socks and they belong to Emily, the protagonist of the story.

While I am all for Lola and Sebastian having a happy ending, this is not always the case. I think kids can handle things that are much weightier than many adults give them credit for. Congratulations on BOTD!

Sock Lobsters by Michelle Bulriss is a cute little children's book discussing stages of grief and handling loss. Your review was touching and engaging. I loved the illustrations and the narration style; it is perfect for children and adults. The affinity between Sebastian and Lola, despite their difference in attitudes, was a reminder that love can exist between an unusual pair, too. Congratulations on the BOTD!
