Two sock lobsters with different outlooks for like. Yet they get along and even like each other enough to miss each other when they get separated. This is interesting. I might learn one or two life lessons that I can teach young ones.

This is certainly an original story about talking lobster socks! An elderly woman lovingly knits a pair of magical socks for her granddaughter. But things go awry at the laundromat. The story themes include kindness, love, loss, and empathy. The book sample was surprisingly fun to read, and the book review was nicely written.

I love children's books because they almost all have happy endings, the beautiful pictures, the morals, the humour. I particularly enjoyed reading this review and feel motivated to read the book to my son. Thank you!

I enjoyed your review of the adorable book Sock Lobsters. I read the whole book in about five minutes. It is not only a cute story to read to your children and grandchildren, but it is also educational. It takes the children through the grieving process of losing someone that you love. The cat, Bubbles, was the hero of the day!

This is a story of Love, Magic, Loss and Reunification. Sock Lobster is an entertaining book of a grandmother who uses a magical ball of yarn to make lobster shape socks as a gift for her granddaughter, Emily.
The writer did a great job by using the story of a lost lobster sock to highlight the stages of grief for young children. The writer illustrated what it is to process grief and problem solving in bad times.

I love the writers prompt attention to details and also I love the visual illustrations the book came with, it tells so much about different stages of grief and how it was dealt with.
It is a book that teaches children on how to recognize their feelings and teaches how to understand what feeling and emotion they are going through at a particular phase of their lives and accept ways to handle their grief.

Although the story is for children but Adults too can relate and find comfort and humor in it as well.

This sounds adorable and hilarious! Two socks that look like lobsters and they can speak? And one tends to see the dark side of life while the other concentrates on bright side? The topic of this book, grief, is not an easy one to go through with the children, but it sounds the author has found a way. I cannot wait to read this book! Thank you for the lovely review!

Sock Lobsters takes a critical topic and makes it kid-friendly. It is important that kids learn that losing a loved one or loved thing is something that should be embraced and used as a growth step. Congrats on BOTD!!!

Really, from this review, it seems like a wonderful and interesting book, and I think it is not intended for children only. Indeed, we can all benefit from the writer’s ideas.

"Sock Lobsters" by Michelle Bulriss is a charming children's book that unfolds with an elderly lady knitting lobster-shaped socks for her granddaughter, Emily. The magical socks, named Sebastian and Lola, come to life, each embodying contrasting perspectives on life—one being optimistic (Lola) and the other more pessimistic (Sebastian). When Lola accidentally falls out of the laundry basket on the way home from the laundromat, the story delves into the stages of grief experienced by both socks. Despite addressing themes of loss and separation, the book maintains a heartwarming and happy ending.

This appears to be a wonderful book with many lessons for children on life and grief. I liked that each sock's personality was different - one more positive and one more negative. I also appreciated this alternative way of experiencing and expressing grief.

Socks shaped like lobsters animate and talk to each other. It is indeed a fun tale to read. It’s nice to hear that this story has a happy ending; that would mean that Lola and Sebastian would re-unite. Lola seems to have gone through obstacles in trying to re-unite with Sebastian. As it is humorous, I would want to read this book.

The characters are very interesting and amusing so I’m looking forward to digging into this book to know Emily and her talking socks Sebastian and Lola who look at the world in two different and extreme perspectives. I love reading children’s books because of the values they impart to the readers which tend to be forgotten or ignored.
