3 Sisters 3 Weeks 3 Countries (Still Talking) by Elizabeth Moore Kraus is a retelling of actual events. The author and her two sisters have finally decided to embark on a trip together. Details have been worked out, and complications are ironed out. But will this be a disaster or the best thing to ever happen to them? There is only one way to find out.

Sisters will always have a unique way of interacting with each other, especially when there are three of them. Through contrary weather, unfamiliar roads, and undecipherable accents, the Moore sisters must learn to navigate challenges and unexpected turns with nothing to hold them together but laughter, shared memories, and an almost unbreakable sister bond.

This book has a warm, personable feel, which is made possible by the author's writing style. She writes with wit, humor, and sarcasm. The reader is carried along on this trip, not as an outside viewer but as if they are right there with the sisters. As we learn what they saw and experienced, we also learn what they felt and how they grew. The characters are people we can feel and understand, not abstract characters in a book. The photos included in the book also help bring life to the story.

The book is very realistic and relatable to almost anybody with siblings. The author does not sugarcoat the story. Readers have a lot to learn from these three sisters.

I like that the author shows more than she tells; we can discover things ourselves. Where the characters are surprised, we find ourselves surprised, and where they are disappointed, we also find ourselves disappointed.

The bits of backstories interspersed with the present events give the reader enough of an idea of the dynamic between the three sisters. We can understand the reason for some occurrences and even predict, with varying degrees of accuracy, the outcome of a particular event.

There was a little confusion with the tense. This book was written majorly in the present tense (Page 42: I stop and ask, "tell me what you think"). However, in some areas, the author seemed to jump between the past and present (Page 66: It is in John F. Kennedy Park where I met a real charmer). This slightly confused me because I would often stop to check whether past or present events were being referred to. However, I did not find this enough to take away any point because it did not hamper my enjoyment of the book. I only hoped the author didn't make those jumps.

I found very few errors; the book was professionally edited. I enjoyed 3 Sisters 3 Weeks 3 Countries (Still Talking); it could be read almost in one sitting. I'd give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, regardless of the minor concern with the tense. Finally, I'd recommend the book to lovers of family-centered memoirs, especially those involving siblings.

There is always that third wheel in the group of three. Two must be closer to each other irrespective of the bond formed. It takes someone really talented to be able to represent emotions properly with words, and it has nothing to do with using adequate punctuation or not.

During their time together, the sisters' bond seemed to have been rejuvenated and deepened as they ventured outside of their comfort zones. It is a motivating reminder of the value of spending time with family and loved ones.

Love the cover page, love the title. And even if it is not my preferred genre, I think this is a book I may enjoy talking about travels and family relations between siblings. As the reviewer says, the unbreakable sister bond.

Throughout the book, the Moore sisters encounter various challenges, including unfavorable weather, unfamiliar roads, and difficulty understanding local accents. Despite these obstacles, they rely on their shared laughter, memories, and an unbreakable sister bond to navigate through it all. Nice review
