While I am not too interested in romance novels, this book may just have enough of the other elements described to make it an enjoyable read for me. The reviewer mentions she dislikes Clarissa's character - that for me is appealing since it means the author can provoke such emotions through the writing style. Since the book is free for BOTD, I will surely read it in the upcoming vacation days.

Riano D. McFarland's 'The Curse of the Mystic Lakes' isn't just a love story, but a captivating blend of magic, sorcery, and mysticism. It beautifully intertwines the intense romance of Stephan and Maribelle with a fantastical world of mystical beings and sorcery. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Romance and fantasy are my gem. It seems that this book has many character names to be remembered though because this woman has difficulty in remembering names. However, Im adding this to my list given my favourite combo (romance and fantasy).

Finding out if Maribelle and Stephan's relationship was approved would be an interesting storyline and I also would like to know what the mystic Lake party is actually about. Very nice review

I like books with magic and mythical beings. At first this book doesn't look like it had any of those, so it is very surprising. I'm really curious with what this book had to offer. Thanks for the review.

The combination of romance and magic makes this book extremely interesting to me. On the other hand, I'm not a horror fan, and the scary woman on the cover gave the impression that this book was one. I'm glad the OBC review cleared this up. Congratulations on BOTD!

Nice review! This book has about every element that I’m down for, though I am a bit hesitant toward the sexual and dark content (I have to tread carefully there). Regardless, I can already tell how engaging the plot is. Just reading the start of the sample told me that there’ll definitely be some people making me mad if I read this lol!

So, this book is about two lovers who try to be together and when things get wrong, stand against the obstacles with their love winning in the end. I liked how the book is about much more than love and how magic, sorcery and other elements are involved because this book seems magical and I would love to read it. Congratulations for BOTD and best wishes for future projects.

Congrats on BOTD!
In addition to being a gripping tale of love, "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" also features magic, sorcery, and mysticism. It skillfully combines a magical world full of supernatural creatures and sorcery with the passionate relationship between Stephan and Maribelle.

The presence of black magic and sorcery, intertwined with the attempt of law enforcers to solve the chain of drowning mysteries is what intrigues me in this book. I look forward to understanding how the unexpected alliances formed in this evil and good battle will play along. The book is quite deserving of the title BOTD.

The review of "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" by Riano D. McFarland highlights the unexpected depth beyond the initial love story between Maribelle and Stephan. The narrative encompasses magic, sorcery, mystical beings, and warlocks, creating an enjoyable and interconnected storyline. The reviewer praises the portrayal of magical powers, disliking Clarissa's possessive character, and notes the book's professional editing. Despite potential discomfort due to profanity and sexual content, the book receives a 5 out of 5 stars rating, recommended for those who enjoy a mix of love, romance, and magic.

I have always enjoyed books related to sorcery. Magic, mystical beings, warlock when all 3 come together the narrative becomes irrestiable. Would love to read the book to know what happened to Maribelle. Did the love birds get together finally. Congrats on BOTD.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and insightful review of "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" by Riano D. McFarland. Your review not only provides a glimpse into the plot and characters but also offers a personal reflection on the elements that stood out to you.
It's fascinating to hear that the book, initially perceived as a love story, delves into a broader spectrum, incorporating magic, sorcery, mystical beings, and warlocks. The seamless connection between chapters and the depth of the narrative seem to have heightened your enjoyment, creating a more immersive experience for you as a reader.
Your appreciation for Ingrid Rowe's portrayal of magical powers and her approach to karma rather than vengeance adds an interesting layer to the story's dynamics. Additionally, the inseparable love between Stephan and Maribelle, described as rare, seems to have resonated strongly with you.
Your critique of Clarissa's possessive and dominant character, and the acknowledgment that it led to consequences, adds a layer of realism and complexity to the characters. The fact that you found only a few errors suggests a high level of professionalism in the editing process, contributing to a smoother reading experience.
Your thoughtful recommendation, taking into account the level of profanity and sexual content, provides potential readers with valuable insights to make an informed choice based on their preferences.
In summary, your review is thorough and balanced, providing both praise and critique while also offering recommendations for the target audience. It's evident that you engaged deeply with the book, and your 5-star rating reflects the high regard in which you hold "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes."

Great review! This book, The Curse of the Mystic Lakes, seems to have all the elements that you need in a great book. Romance, mystery, magic, sorcery, and more. I can't wait to finish the book.
