Hi, Cristina, you did a thorough review of this book. I like Jack Winnick's style of writing. Having read his book entitled Waterworks, I can attest to how interesting he makes his stories by showing us what both the heroes and the villains are thinking. Have a great day! :techie-studyinggray:

Thank you for your review. I have read a different review before about Jack Winnick's East Wind and I am quite pleased to have learned some additional and refreshing information from your review.
It's great to know Uri and Lara"s ages and I value you mentioning what makes this book different from the stereotypical spy novel.

I know that terrorists are trained from an early stage this makes them ruthless and the fact that Walid Jahangiri proves this. Reading this book was enlightening.

spy thrillers can be tense but if you look deeper all of them are same. Thank you for making us realise that this one is different.

"East Wind, 2nd edition" by Jack Winnick. An interesting series of Uri and Lara. Uri and Lara coming together to thwart the terrorists’ plans to put an end to U.S. support for the Zionist State. Walid on his own side could be of help to Lara and Uri to bring down the terrorist group he belongs to help save lives. This book is action packed book and well written. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Thank you for sharing your insightful review of 'East Wind' by Jack Winnick! Your detailed analysis captures the essence of the thrilling narrative, showcasing its gripping espionage, complex characters, and the tension-filled countdown against terrorist threats.

I appreciate your recognition of the author's skill in narrative perspective switches and the depth of the characters' backgrounds. These elements indeed elevate the story beyond the typical spy novel, offering readers a more profound understanding of their motivations.

Your assessment of the novel's suitability for thriller enthusiasts, coupled with its limited graphic content and editing quality, provides a helpful perspective for potential readers. Your 4-star rating speaks volumes about the book's ability to captivate and entice readers into wanting more from Uri and Lara's future adventures.

Thank you for this comprehensive review, and it's fantastic to hear your enthusiasm for following the characters in the sequel, 'Devil Among Us.' Your insights will undoubtedly assist other readers in discovering this thrilling world of espionage and high-stakes intrigue!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller novel following Lara and Uri, two government agents, as they pursue and attempt to stop a terrorist group from using a nuclear fission bomb that is being smuggled into the US. It might be worth a second look. Well done. Congrats!
