This book had me gripped from start! If you are into character development, this is the one for you. It was so fun and exciting to learn all the ways of Nimue and I really enjoyed getting to know her throughout the book and the journey this took me on. This book gave so many details and information about what was going on and never left me guessing what was happening. I definitely appreciated all the information at the end I read through this before I started reading and again at the end and it was such a welcomed selection of information. There was a good amout of characters that keep you entertained and some have you questioning if you should be in fear for Nimue or happy for her. There is a romance that is above all stars and also a bit of jelouse moments that keep you on your toes and excited for what is to come. All in all this was an amazing book to end the 2023 year and I highly suggest reading this book and getting lost in a fantasy world for awhile.
