I love stories about the paranormal! And this seems like an interesting exploration of the human psyche, too. Thank you!

I love reading paranormal stories so I’m looking forward to digging into this one to know what Dave was experiencing within him. Will this consume him and transform him into something good or monstrous?

Extraordinary things happen to many people, but not everyone has the ability to understand or interpret it. Dave begins to experience unusual, paranormal events, with the help of his friends they investigate about it.

The author's attempt to make the book realistic, despite the fantasy aspect, is very admirable. The storyline seems to have a lot of potential if it is properly refined and the characters are well-developed. Congratulations on BOTD!

This is one of the most interesting books I've ever come across. I feel like I'll learn a lot from how Dave handled the situations he was facing. I'd love to pick it up one of the days to read. Big kudos to the author!

This fast-paced, coming-of-age fantasy about a medical student's life changing experience sounds exciting. I like how this book seems to showcase the energy of everything. Great review!

From the extraordinarily fabricated review, it appear "Sentinel Of The Light" by Dennis W Rhoades is a book based on parapsychology. Dave the protagonist experienced various paranormal occurrences in his life and his friend Spud tries to help him throughout the novel. This book is a genuine story of friendship apart from other themes that it celebrates.

Sentinel of the Light: Awakening's exploration of friendship, trust, and the paranormal sounds interesting. And, I'm ready to dive into Dave's transformative experience and discover the hero within.

You did a thorough and honest review of this book. I read the prologue of the book and it caught my attention right away with its sense of urgency and by making me envision being in the same situation on the doorstep of death. I think the author will appreciate your candid review. If the author makes the improvements you suggested the rating could get bumped up to 4 out of 5. I am not sure how much more character development the author would have to add to get to 5 stars. Thank you for your review. :techie-studyinggray:

I absolutely love the intensity of the book. How Dave is going from life to death is astonishing given the the way author is going back and forth... This book has a lot of potential to be a big one... I can't wait to read the whole book.... :compta:

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story following Dave, a medical student that after a severe pneumonia problem and a bad breakup, starts to notice supernatural elements around himself. Will he figure out why? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Mysterious events, upheavals in medical education, and a struggle to keep the love of his girlfriend, Beth, not only kept Dave on his course but also proved engaging enough to hold my reading attention.

The main character in the role of Dave and his paranormal experiences that lead him to study parapsychology under the guidance of Professor Hamilton and how his discovery changes Dave's life seem worth reading this intriguing novel.

A very informative and seems to be all encompassing review. The first paragraph of the review which is summarizing the book in its entirety was definitely an interesting read and an attention grabber. It was almost as if the review was like the book as far as being attention grabbing in the very beginning, but then you hear the readers obvious disdain at the lack of continued suspense carried throughout the book. What a wonderful and thorough review!
