This medical thriller set in the quality improvement department sounds like it has deep characterization and unexpected twists. The main character also feels heroic in escaping from abuse and starting over in a new country. Great review!

See Me: A Jeannie Johal Thriller" offers a gripping plot and complex characters, but the dialogue and some errors detract slightly. Overall, a compelling read with a 4 out of 5 stars recommendation for thriller fans.

"See Me: A Jeannie Johal Thriller" by Susann Camus is a compelling narrative that delves into Jeannie's escape from an abusive past, unraveling murder investigations and unforeseen challenges in her new life in Canada. The unpredictable plot and nuanced characters captivated me, providing an engaging reading experience. While the dialogue occasionally felt stilted, and minor editing issues were noted, the author's storytelling prowess shines through, making it a good book overall. I recommend it to thriller enthusiasts, offering suspense and mature themes to keep readers on edge. 📖✨

I checked out a few pages and truly enjoyed what I read. I may have to put this one on my to-be-read list as the plot is intriguing and, as the reviewer writes, the characters are complex. Congrats to Ms. Camus on her accomplishment.

Great review! Your review was very descriptive and insightful. Reading the first few chapters, I didn't notice the awkward dialogue, but I'm sure it's there once I get into the rest of the book. "See Me" A Jeanie Johal Thriller" sounds like an interesting murder thriller that I can't wait to read. The main character, Jeanie, must be scared out of her mind that her abusive husband will find her in Canada. I hope that he doesn't.

Faking one's death and creating a new identity in another country! I hope the author gets that plot point across successfully. I'm quite wary about the comments regarding the dialogue.

I equally do not enjoy conversations or dialogues between characters, which appear forced and fake, as that makes me unable to resonate with the characters. Thanks for your honest review.

Jeannine is the perfect character in a story about leaving a life behind and starting a new journey; however, often, fresh starts don't happen smoothly. Jeannine will uncover secrets that should remain hidden, and what will happen then?

Thank you for the excellent and balanced review of "See Me: A Jeannie Johal Thriller" by Susann Camus. It sounds like a good book and maybe book one of what could turn into a great series as the author gets more practice with dialogue. Although there is good, rich character development they do need to have convincing dialogue. However, I was wondering if second language speakers, or readers, might not do well with the dialogue as it it written. I don't know, I am just wondering.
It does sound like quite a good premise and the reviewer remarked that the characters keep the plot moving along with their activity and the story is a good one. I look forward to reading this book. Congratulations on book of the day, Susann Camus.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime thriller story following a woman who fakes her death and flees her abusive husband and life in Mumbai for Canada. The only issue that her new life in Canada is not what she expected when she gets caught up in a murder investigation. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I think I would enjoy reading this book because I do love thrillers and I especially love medical thrillers by authors such as Robin Cook and Tess Gerittsen. I'm very intrigued by the storyline about patients being harmed and that's what makes me want to read this book. Thank you for a great review!

I love a good thriller with well-developed characters. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Though I'm concern about the awkward dialogues, the plot seems to be well executed. When the main character faking their death it should be followed by captivating adventures. This book worth a second look. Thank you for your honest review.
