Very impressive to the author! I read the sample and I enjoyed each page. The writings speak of soulful matters through poetic form.
I feel that the best poetry is the ones containing timeless pearls of wisdom and this seems to fall into such a classification. Also, the author's personal journey within the poetry has truly enhanced my understanding and interest for poetry.

I rarely read poetry in English. I feel I lose a lot of nuance since I'm not a native speaker. But I'm all for anything that helps us feel kinder and calmer, and now I learned the term "social responsibility" poetry. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your insightful and heartfelt review of "Looking Inwards: A Journey into Turiya" by Sameer Pendse. It is truly heartening to hear your appreciation for the poetic essence and the profound self-expression embedded in the book. Sameer Pendse seems to have crafted not just a collection of poems but a profound reflection on life's journey and the interconnectedness of cultures. Your astute observation regarding the personal touch in the author's writing, particularly the references to "our boys" and the seamless integration of family into the poems, resonates deeply. It's indeed a testament to the power of poetry to connect us on a personal and cultural level.

Your recognition of the balance struck between spiritual content and its accessibility to non-religious readers is particularly noteworthy. It speaks to the universality of the themes explored in the book, transcending specific beliefs. Your choice of the "Basking Ridge" poem as a standout and the subsequent invitation for readers to ponder Emily's existence add a wonderful layer to the review, encouraging potential readers to engage deeply with the material.

Lastly, your perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars, coupled with the acknowledgment that the book is error-free, underscores the exceptional quality of Sameer Pendse's work. Your review is not only a thoughtful analysis but also a compelling invitation to readers to explore the profound beauty and lasting impact of poetry found within the pages of "Looking Inwards: A Journey into Turiya." Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I'm sure many readers will be inspired to delve into this poetic journey.

I love that the author references to their personal experience, as a reader you get to also learn from the book not just read for the sake of it. Even though I am not a fan of poetry I believe I would enjoy this book.

This poetic book explores thought-provoking fields such as social responsibility, society, afterlife, gender and divinity. Even the spiritual component is interesting. Although I am not a lover of poetry (because it is difficult for me to understand it), I think I could benefit from this work.

This seems to be a nice attempt to link the poetic medium with spiritual awareness. And although after reading a few of the selections I realized this book was not for me, I believe many will find it inspirational. Congrats to the author.

This book is more than just a compilation of poems; it's a voyage through many stages of life, with each section representing a novel turning point in the life of the writer. A fantastic book. Congratulations on BOTD.

"Looking inwards" by Sameer Pendse exhumes a feeling of warmth and love that only family can give. The fact that it is the writer's personal experiences makes 6it more appealing. A poetic approach to writing as used by the writer makes this book an outstanding write up.

This review beautifully unveils the book's magic, like a friend explaining a really cool story. It talks about how the poems connect to real life and feelings. It's like they're saying, "Hey, this book is worth checking out!" and I agree—it sounds like a good read. "Looking Inwards" by Sameer Pendse is a book of poems that talk about life, love, and understanding ourselves. Each poem is like a little story that helps us see how we're all connected. Congrats to the author on being #BOTD!
Life is a play where we are the actors and the audience, We laugh and cry, love and hate, create and destroy,
We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.

Even though i have not read poetry in years, this well written review tempts me to read this one. A mix of life lessons, family and higher power expressed in the art of poetry sounds like and interesting and entertaining read.
