It sounds like the author put a ton of work into making fantasy sound believable and relatable. It’s not often that I am enticed to read a fantasy/science fiction novel, so well done on your review!

The book talks about the many adventures he had with his team in order to discover many diverse religious and cultural differences. Despite the difficulties of the journey that the team faced, the goal was worth it.

I love the quote that despite the pain and suffering prevalent in life, we should not allow this to make us unkind. I have added the book to my want-to-read shelf. Many thanks for the fascinating review.

Fate made an old dispute come to light again. A book with very good descriptions that transport you to that incredible place where the events take place. Our protagonists live great adventures in the midst of so much action.

I'm really impressed with how you captured the essence of Steve Ramirez's 'The Great Migration' in your review. Your insights into the depth of the world-building and the intricate character development highlight the author's skill in weaving a complex sci-fi narrative. The comparison to classic sci-fi narratives, coupled with a modern twist, makes me eager to dive into this book. The way you've drawn attention to the underlying themes of religious rivalry and the human condition adds a rich layer to what could be seen as just another sci-fi adventure. Great analysis!

I'm utterly grateful for the mind-bending journey you've taken me on with "The Great Migration." The intricacies of Thunder Valley, the Cabochon festival, and the vibrant characters like Luta, Bellona, and the entire team have left an indelible mark on my imagination.

This was a superb review. I would have loved to hear more about the scientific content of this book and the degree of complexity of this content. You gave us little information regarding the plot and the characters' motivation. It is not clear why the centuries-old foe of the village is attacking them or why the protagonists are migrating.

I like these kinds of fantasy books. In fact, I am reading one. There is something grand about a new world and creatures, new kinds of magic, new religions, and so on. Making of this world is difficult and complex for a writer as they would want to consider human nature and how that affects everyone and everything. Congratulations on BOTD and best wishes for future projects.

I was not sure if this book was right for me based on its title and cover, but this review intrigued me, especially the last bit where aliens and zombies were introduced. Sounds promising!
