Mohan promises to go on a tough journey to Mount Kailash in Tibet because he wants to fix the problem with land and the mafia boss. This will lead to peace. Even though he was first unsure, Mohan started the hike. He had to deal with problems because of how high up they were and the hard ground. As he meets other travelers, he finds out why they are on a pilgrimage and their stories. This makes him understand more about the world. During his journey, he finds out about Tibetan and Hindu customs linked to the holy mountain.

Rao's writing is personal and funny. He makes the reader feel like part of his adventure by using bright pictures and stories we can all understand. The book looks at things like trust, finding yourself and getting past problems. These ideas touch people no matter who they are or what they think. The words Rao gives us about the Himalayas make you catch your breath. They take us to snow-covered hills, icy water lakes and wonderful scenery places. In the book, Rao faces his fears and shortcomings. Eventually, he finds calm and reason as he gets past them.

I'd rate "Inner Trek" as 5 stars out of 5. It's a smart book for anyone wanting personal growth, travel stories and cultural information – especially about Hinduism. People can join in Mohan's trip from a shy traveler to one seeking inner calmness. This makes it an uplifting book. Rao's fun writing style, filled with jokes and clever comments, keeps the reader interested. It makes the trip enjoyable too. I really enjoyed every page, part and word in the book. The editing is great and doesn't have any mistakes.

"Inner Trek" is a well-written and interesting life story that gives you personal growth, cultural knowledge and fun in the Himalayas. People looking for self-finding, spiritual search or a fun travel story will like Rao's trip a lot.
