The reviewer gives the book high marks for its strong antagonists, lots of action, and suspense. One of the novel's strongest aspects is its geopolitical perspective, and the author does a remarkable job of incorporating actual events into the story. The protagonist, Lara, is an accomplished FBI agent, and the characters are well-developed. The story is well demonstrated by the reviewer.

The high impact pace of this thriller will have readers on the edge of their seats. This book is exciting, yet unfortunately all too recognisable, and it’s a stark reminder that there are brave people out there, as in the book, who are risking their lives to prevent these atrocities. A book not for the faint hearted!

As a potential reader, your comprehensive review offers a fascinating glimpse into "Devil in False Colors" by Jack Winnick. The intricate geopolitical outlook seems captivating, threading real historical events into a fictional narrative. The complexity of themes like religiously motivated terrorism, Iran's nuclear threat, and geopolitical tensions adds depth to the storyline.

Your insights into the characters, particularly Lara's portrayal as a fiercely independent FBI agent, sound compelling. It's intriguing how the author weaves her skills and background into the narrative to address national security threats.

However, your mention of politically charged viewpoints and controversial remarks, while adding depth, also hints at potential polarizing perspectives within the book. Nevertheless, your 4 out of 4 stars rating and the overall positive portrayal of the book's craftsmanship, despite minor editing issues, pique curiosity about its content and pacing.

Your endorsement of this novel as an enjoyable, fast-paced thriller with international intrigue is enticing. Your review, while highlighting strengths, also acknowledges the potential for diverse reader reactions due to its politically charged content.

Overall, your thoughtful and detailed analysis makes "Devil in False Colors" an intriguing prospect for those interested in thrillers intertwined with geopolitical affairs.

Sometimes, the whole narrative feels like something real. I wonder how killing people solves anything at all. Thank you for an interesting review.

I feel disheartened that children have been involved in this vicious massacre. That is inhumane and traumatising.I don't want to imagine how the events played out.

At a Jewish preschool, Jack Winnick narrates the massacre of five children carried out by Arabic-speaking terrorists. Uri Levin disguises himself to investigate where he meets a co-worker FBI agent, Lara Edmond who has feelings for him. Congrats on the BOTD and a satisfactory review.
