Stories about the paranormal are highly captivating since anything can happen.
Great review, very honest.

With regards to the review: it felt like the reviewer battled to write it maybe due to lack of enjoyment of the book? I get that, but to add sentences that not really relevant or informative makes the review hard to understand and might give a wrong impression about the book. For instance this sentence:
"Most of the words used in this book were relatively easy to understand because I understood the words used without any difficulty. I also learned some new words from this book."
It's structure could be changed and it's like you use a lot of words but they not really saying anything of significance. You can change the sentence so that 'less' words mean more. I'm not criticizing at all, just trying to help. Otherwise we'll done to the review

You are right, it's a bit jarring when characters are introduced out of nowhere in the middle of the novel without any prior mention. But, the book has an interesting storyline. I love a good fantasy novel, but this one is unnecessarily complicated from what I gather from the review.
