This year, an incredible story is developing around Kelly Chase's return home from what is believed to be imprisonment in Vietnam. Unexpected obstacles stand in his way of recuperation, most notably a fortuitous meeting with Kaitlin Chapin, the well-known half of The Chapins sister duet, grapp

I enjoyed reading the review. I find it amazing that Kelly found the strength and will to rebuild his life after going through so much. War is traumatizing and destructive; it is so nice that Kelly found love again

I don’t really like romance novels and this is probably no exception. While all the review spoke about was Kelly’s war experiences, it also mentioned his falling in love with Rita annd his being different when he came home. I imagine that this is where the romance comes in. Congratulations on BOTD!

A well-written review. I read the sample and I was transported into a very brutal and vivid imagery. I am no fan of war, I do not see the purpose of it when we can communicate from one human to the next. The experience that soldiers also have to endure is life-altering. I am glad that there is an opportunity for Kelly to find love again despite all the horrors he has experienced. Congratulations to the author on such a bitter-sweet and insightful plot!

Saving KC by Grinnell Desjarlais is a poignant romance novel chronicling Kelly's resilient journey from dreams of California to the harsh realities of war. The book offers insightful glimpses into the traumas soldiers endure and skillfully weaves cultural elements into the narrative. The exploration of love and resilience is beautifully portrayed, with a balance of emotion. The well-written and edited story could benefit from clearer timing indications for certain events.

"Saving KC" by Grinnell Desjarlais. An interesting book, talks about Kelly who's dream was to live in California back then as a young boy. Fell in love with Rita, joined the army and got missing in the mission. This book tells the story of what soldiers are experiencing. The author's writing style is great and easier to understand while reading. Congrats on your #BOTD.
