In the midst of a couple's long-awaited honeymoon, Kelly and Tom Turbulo, hoping for serenity in a seemingly tranquil locale, find themselves entangled in unexpected turmoil. Postponing their careers momentarily, they yearn for undisturbed time together. Yet, as fate would have it, their reprieve is short-lived.

During a hike with fellow team members, Kelly, motivated by familial bonding, wanders into a piggy toy shop. Her intention to purchase gifts for her extended family takes a sharp turn when she inadvertently stumbles upon a concealed, criminal underworld within the seemingly innocent store. The piggy shop, a mere facade, conceals illicit activities, catapulting Kelly into a perilous situation with terrorists on her tail and an imminent security threat unfolding.

The unfolding narrative keeps readers on edge, prompting questions about the shop's hidden secrets and the ensuing peril for Kelly and Tom. The book unfolds as a gripping rollercoaster of mysteries, leaving readers hooked as they anticipate the unpredictable twists and turns in the plot. The central question of how the couple will navigate the network of terrorists and the challenges of their honeymoon adds layers of suspense and engagement.

The meticulous development of characters and the portrayal of emotions captivate readers in every chapter. Jo's jealousy surfaces palpably as he hesitates to assist Senator Mike McBride, hinting at a possible romantic entanglement with Kelly. Kelly emerges as a determined and ambitious character, showcased not only in her proactive response to security threats but also in her unwavering commitment to her career and responsibilities.

This book stands among the best I've read, excelling in every aspect. The flawless execution leaves little room for criticism, warranting a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Crime thriller enthusiasts, especially those intrigued by EMP terror threats, will find this book exceptionally captivating. I found no grammatical errors, meaning that it was well-edited.
