Pud is based on the real story of the author's beloved cat, who disappeared for two weeks. One night, he returned and wept outside until his owner let him inside. Pud is a cat that lives with his family. Pud aspires to be more than just a house cat; among other things, he wants to be an excellent swimmer, braver, and more intelligent.

I love the story. But you are right, it is a drawback when a character just disappears from the book. But since this is a children's book, it is not a huge issue. Your review was great. This book cam teach children about ambitious and determination.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the first-person narrative style employed by the author, allowing readers to see the world from Pud's unique perspective. It's wonderful that the colorful and distinctive illustrations contributed to the overall appeal of the book, making it engaging for children and keeping them captivated throughout the story. The inclusion of the author's inspiration for the tale at the end of the book is a nice touch, offering readers additional context and a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of the story.
