I love reading in the bath. My brother and I both did this growing up because it was a place that we would be left alone. It is very relaxing for sure.

I do this several times a week. Every time I have a bath I have to take a book in with me.
Super relaxing. I agree that it can be hazardous to the book but books should be enjoyed in whatever way works best for the reader.
If you haven't read in the bath, do so tonight, I know I will be.

I really can't say that I have. Probably because I don't take baths. And reading in the shower would be an absolute disaster. lol

I tried once but couldn't figure out how to keep the book dry. I gave up.

Actually, no. But you give me an idea... . I think you're right, it probably would add to the relaxation. I think I would try it, but I would be too afraid of the book getting wet, or my iPad short-circuiting and electrocuting me!

Yes, all the time ...and I am quite naughty, when immersed in a book (and in the bath) I will even take my Kidnle in with me.

Reading a book while taking a bath is one of the best combos. Relaxing while reading helps me immerse even further into the world I'm reading about.

I get in the tub and dry my hands and then carefully bring my book and start reading. I love doing it. I used to get my laptop and watch movies in the tub. I would have the laptop on the counter.

Reading while nathing is something I have done for several years and find very enjoyable. I always try to find time a few times a month to take the time to treat myself to a nice bubble bath and a good book. I recommend everyone that is an avid reader to endulge in.

How exactly do you even manage that? I tried it once, but got really frustrated drying my hands every time they got wet. and I was somewhat terrified I'd drop the book. Considered getting a waterproof ipad case and trying that though

You're rather brave, I wouldn't take my phone or ereader anywhere near a bath!

I enjoy paging through a book in the tub, but the moisture really does ruin the pages, so I only do this with used books that are already a bit knackered.
