This is book is amazing and I wouldnt mind reading again. It's full of enthusiasm for me personally and I recommend it. Just from the description of events in the first summarized paragraph, I believe that I should sit down and read this book. The way you bring up the suspense makes me nervous to be among the few discussing this book. Thank you for bringing out such a fascinating review. I am adding this to my shelf. This mystery thriller has such a fascinating start that I'm completely hooked. The context of a dead attorney defending his client from the grave peaks my curiosity even more. I look forward to delving into this novel.

Ernie, the main character, who is also the chief of police, seems to have come across a hard case on his hands. It's also intriguing that he is getting romantically involved with the prime suspect. Thanks for the review.

Great review! "Gravnick" is a book thats sounds like a gripping thriller with a twisty plot, sharp characters, and a sassy grandma to steal the show. Minor editing stumbles don't overshadow the fast pace, suspense, and intriguing romance definitely recommended for crime thriller fans – 3.5 stars!

I'm not a big fiction fan but the author did a very nice job of character and story development. The characterizations are believable and the context of a police chief's relationship with a person accused of a capital crime, the psychological push-pull and what comes out of it makes for very interesting reading. The multi ethnic backgrounds, stories and overall taste and feel of Chicago provides the perfect staging for this entertaining weekend read and I highly recommend it.

Gravnick, the first book written by Bob Herpe, is a fictional work. This novel has a great plot, characters that you will remember, and lots of twists and turns. Review has excellent writing and explanation. The book looks exciting, and I'm curious to find out if the case is resolved and what happens to Ernie when he starts dating someone he suspects. congratulations to the writer on BOTD.

This is my kind of book. Taking turns guessing who the culprit is makes it fun. Throw in a little romance and the story gets even better and the list of culprits gets larger. Since the story picked up from the start, it will grab my attention and I will not be bored.

Bob Herpe's 'Gravnick' seems intriguing. I love the reviewer's description of the story. I think Dora Gravnick might have suffered a worse fate but for her attitude. I hope Ernie achieved his aim. Congrats on BOTD.

I completely resonate with your insightful review of "Gravnick." Despite the minor grammatical hiccups, the gripping plot and well-developed characters have held my attention throughout. Dora Gravnick's character, with her indomitable spirit, added a unique and touching layer to the narrative. I, too, found her self-deprecating humour endearing. The suspense and unexpected twists kept me eagerly turning pages :D

This sounds like a very interesting storyline. It's sad that the many errors prevent you from awarding it a maximum rating. Thanks for your review.

There is something that is pulling me towards that 13 year old, it would be exciting to know how ernie deals with juvenile. A strong female characters makes me eager to read this crime thriller.
