This sounds like a very interesting story! The antagonist seems to fit perfectly into the story. I'd love to know more about how this novel may develop.

The character dynamics are so intricately woven, and the contrast between Wayne's trauma and Joanne's determination adds a layer of emotional depth that kept me hooked from start to finish.

I like that this book offers great lessons to learn from the characters' stories and the traumas that they had to undergo, opening the door for the reader to do great introspection. The mystery and suspense make it even more impressive.

Joanne and Samantha are on a run from the puppeteer, who seems to be an immensely strong antagonist. Chris and Andy’s protective instinct to save Joanne and Samantha is weighed against the puppeteer’s strength. The plot is interesting. Nice review.

Your review is great, Shanesha! I sampled a few pages that introduced me to Wayne with his trauma, Joanne, Samantha, and their German Shepherd Harley. But I have yet to read up on how these episodes were connected. Your review puts the sample I read in perspective. I also agree with you about the engaging style and your perfect five-star rating.

I wonder who the puppeteer is and why they hold so much power over Wayne. I'm also intrigued by who could be after Samantha and Joanne; is it the same puppeteer? I'll definitely check out this book!

The narrative unfolds with a well-paced blend of suspense, action, and introspection. Curtis skillfully maintains the reader's engagement, making it difficult to put the book down. The plot twists and turns, keeping the outcome uncertain and the stakes high.
- Read the first few, and found that this part is spot on. Can't wait to get back to the rest of it, since it truly is a book that is difficult to put down. Thank you for your exquisite review.

I can't help but wonder how the mother-daughter duo would escape the non-human entity that is after them. The perfect blend of the mystery and thrill makes this book an exciting read. Congrats on BOTD!!

This edition has been re-edited, and the flawless editing makes for an even more immersive reading experience. In addition to being a work of fiction, Curtis's story provokes thought about the difficulties associated with trauma and love.
I believe in something greater than myself.
