Teetering on a Tightrope is a great book for people who have bipolar disorder and those who want to know more about it. The author shares his life experiences and his struggles with mental health. This book creates awareness on mental health and sexual assault.

I commend the author for sharing his story and the reality of living with mental illness. I have not read the book yet, but I have to disagree with the reviewer's point deduction because mental illness isn't black and white and readers suffering from mental illness can relate to author and feel less ashamed of their reality. Thank you for the review.

The book is focus more on the problem that started when the character in the story was nine, which aggravated the genetic trait in his family (Depression ) which affected members of his family too also her daughters

Its interesting to note that this memoir is about the author battling the bipolar disorder all his life. A good read to all fighters out there so that they dont feel alone. Besides, mental health is a well known subject today unlike in the past. I for one would love to explore this. This author amazed me for surviving this when back in the day, this is something unknown and people mostly would say we're overreacting or overthinking when open up about this. Must be a lonely journey this has been.

To whoever may read this little review of mine. I would like first to give a round of applause to the author. The sample on Amazon gave me a refreshing point of view regarding the contents of your writing and a favorable opinion of the book.

Chapter 1 is a horrifying and disgusting scenario due to the horrible things that happened during the author's childhood. I have quite a similar experience, and it produces anxiety; it follows you throughout your life like a snake in tall grass, waiting for a bite, making you jumpy.

Chapters 2 and 3 were a journey and throwback on the past of the author; they discuss his family and his journey throughout his early life; it's truly saddening that people have to go through this much abuse at an early age.

I have yet to write an accurate review of the book since I haven't read the whole thing, but from the snippets and stuff I've seen, it's a niche and excellent biography about the author. It records the ups and downs of his life, and I am sure it would detail the struggles he faced early on in his life.

This is definitely an enlightening book on bipolar disorder from the perspective of one who has suffered from it. It is saddening that one could choose to defile one so young and thus lead to depression and other mental health issues. It is nice of the author to come out and share this story. Teetering on a tightrope

As the reader the first thing that caught my attention was a young boy going through a traumatic event, not only himself but his family as well. Books like these are necessary because it allows others a chance to heal just by reading this book. Although it is mentioned that even in adulthood the traumatic wounds are still there. Honestly is there a time limit on when and how we heal? I enjoyed the authenticity in this book.
