"The Road" by Cormac McCarthy won the Pulitzer Prize in 2007, and you will see why when you read it; a real thriller page-turner!

I actually just got done reading a book that has extreme sexual torture and debasement in it. It's called "Talyn" by Holly Lisle. I made a little video book review of it here. I would suggest it to you if you'd like that sort of thing.

I've got just what you need: If you've ever been a victim you'll find that this book will be a healing experience. I've been a sheriff for over 26 years. I've often pondered what kind of Hell awaits evil men. That's why I wrote,,, Conscience of a Dead Killer. This is a story where the killer gets the electric chair in the first chapter and then spends his existance trying to stop himself.
The story: A killer's ghost is forced to go back in time and witness the lives of his victims with a conscience, until he meets an FBI agent who can see him where no one else can.

It can be found on Amazon or ordered through about a million other places.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Any Bret Easton Ellis book would satisfy most of your requirements - also they are magnificently written. He is an amazing writer, I am not into these types of books but had "Lunar park" as an xmas present and read it because of the prose moslty. Have been advised not to read others as I don't like this type of fiction as they are so gruesome and disturbing.

Also, "My idea of fun" Will Self very obscene and gratuitous in parts.

Yup, American Psycho's definitely a good one. There are moments where I wanted to stop reading but couldn't look away from the page - disturbing and intriguing at the same time.

I would recommend you read The Rising by Brian Keene. The book is about a type of zombie demon outbreak. There are some pretty disgusting things that happen in the book. For instance, one of the zombies rapes a human. Also, a man returns to his home to find that his pregnant wife has been turned into one of these creatures. When she lifts her shirt, there is a fetus sitting in her stomach cavity that had chewed its way out of her. The fetus is still connected to the imbilical cord and jumps down out of her stomach to go after the human.... and it talks! The books will definitly satisfy your need for disturbing subject matter!

How about you quit with the text message style replies and actually spell stuff out.
And I've got a sick book. Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite. It has cannibalism, homosexuality, and torture. It actually made me sick in some parts. But I read it because Poppy is my favorite writer.
