Mishaps of Marvelouz Witch Book Two: Marvelouz Grows a Garden by Karen Fronterhouse is the second book in a series that tells the story of two young witch sisters, Marvelouz and Sparkleful. Marvelouz was the younger sister who always looked up to Sparkleful and wanted to be like her. One day, Marvelouz was visiting Sparkleful when she was amazed to see the beautiful garden her sister grew. She immediately decided she wanted her own beautiful garden, too. She thought it was easy and left quickly. She went to a store and bought random seeds. Then, she went home to start her own garden. You won't believe what she did to start the garden and how things turned out. You need to grab Mishaps of Marvelouz Witch Book Two: Marvelouz Grows a Garden by Karen Fronterhouse to find out.

The illustrations and the design of the book are its most significant elements. The design had some beautiful touches, and the illustrations were magnificent. Alicja Siemiatkowska could bring the characters to life, and this gave me the ability to visualize the story. The story had good lessons to teach. It focused on the concept that "no plan is a plan for failure." I also liked the attitude of the older sister when she came to help. She didn't blame her. She showed her the right way to do things and provided the necessary help.

Starting the book, I felt overwhelmed by the details that I was trying to collect. It took me some time to be able to get involved in the story. The series has a first part that I haven't read. I'm not sure if this was the reason. Generally, the idea is good, and I believe the writer can build good things on it. The book's editing was excellent. I only noticed one minor mistake.

The book has a good moral, and it is a beautiful experience to look at its illustrations while reading. I felt it wasn't clear enough in the beginning. Therefore, I rate this book four out of five stars. The book is directed at children from ages 2 to 18. I believe I can recommend it more to children from 8 to 12.

I appreciate the valuable lessons woven into the story. The concept of "no plan is a plan for failure" is an important one, and it's presented in a way that is easy for young readers to understand. It's a great reminder that careful planning and preparation are essential in any endeavor, and I think it's a valuable lesson for readers of all ages. Good review.

It’s really difficult for me to relate to this story. I am not a fan of gardening. I can look at the garden’s of other and appreciate them, but I have absolutely no desire to do it myself. I guess I can relate to the concept, though.

This seems like a lovely fantasy story for children, who can have fun and learn some useful lessons at the same time. I guess very little children can enjoy this story if a parent or a teacher reads it to them. Thank you for your great review!

"Mishaps of Marvelouz Witch Book Two" by Karen Fronterhouse, illustrated by Alicja Siemiatkowska, is a charming children's book that teaches valuable lessons through the story of Marvelouz, a young witch aspiring to emulate her sister's gardening success. Despite initial struggles and a lack of planning, Marvelouz learns from her mistakes with her sister's guidance. The book shines with its stunning illustrations and moral teachings but suffers slightly from a slow start and dependency on its predecessor. It is best suited for readers aged 8 to 12.

Thank you for your good review. The illustration on the cover of this book is so vivid , magical and captivating. This cover leads me to unravel the magic in the plot alone. Well done to the illustrator. Noting your comments, I will look for part one of his book before following through with this second part. I love magic and fantasy and so does my daughter, particular stories of this nature. Marvelouz
and Sparkleful sound charming.
Congratulations to the author!

The bonding between sisters has always been special. This book shows how younger sister Marvelouz tries to emulate the elder one Sparkleful. Does she succeed. Read the book to know. Will try to read part one before coming to this book for better understanding.

Even though it's a children's book and I'm not the target audience for it, I could appreciate how children at that age can relate to lessons on "day to day tasks" and family relationships.

However, I have to be honest that it was hard to connect with the book in the first pages because setting the mood and explaining the characters was very slow and not very engaging. Additionally, I think that the author could've captivated the audience more by describing the Victorian house and it's surroundings in a more mysterious or engaging way. Not all children might be familiar with Victorian houses (or settings) and I think the author intended to use that because they are very fitting to a "witchy family".
