Yes, my expectations were met. The book is so good that I was super grateful for it. As I started reading the book, my life began to change, I started choosing hope above complaint. I would love to read a similar book from the author, or other authors.

Personally, I found "Fireproof Happiness" to be a book that stayed true to its title and offered valuable insights. One aspect that particularly resonated with me was the distinction between being hopeful and engaging in wishful thinking. It's important to understand that genuine hope involves an active process and intentional actions.

I also appreciated the exploration of serendipity and its role in creating happiness. This added an intriguing perspective to the book and highlighted the potential for unexpected and positive experiences to contribute to our overall well-being.

As a perso struggling with anxiety and some struggles, I’ll say the book met my expectations from the first teaching of hope. It was worth the read.

I was a little underwhelmed. I've read a fair number of self-help books, so maybe for that reason, the content didn't seem that fresh or new. I'm also married to a therapist, so I hear this stuff every day and felt the book could have gone a little deeper.

Absolutely yes! I was pleasantly surprised by the unique focus on the science behind hope and happiness. The title exceeded my expectations in both narrative and topics.

The book did meet my expectations but did not exceed them. I have read probably a dozen or more self help books in different subject matters. This one didn't particularly stand out to me as special or different. I do appreciate that it was written during the pandemic though, so it is very relevant and timely.

Indeed, it is quite obvious that Dr Randy Ross practises what he preaches. He is so full of enthusiasm that you can almost hear his voice through the words. Hope is his message: learn, use, and reap it in. He repeats his message so many times that it gets ingrained into your brain, but it's an excellent message.

This book exceeded my expectations, since I’m not usually a big fan of self-help books (I think that a lot of times they tend to be a little degrading), but this one caught my eye so I thought I’d give it a read. I actually feel like I came away from this book more inclined to self-reflection and self-assessment, which I can’t usually say about books like this. It’s positive tone and use of real-life anecdotes really contributed to the author’s points and made the book a lot more interesting than it would have been otherwise.
