This is a book which personifies an object, in this case, a chair, showing its ability to "feel" like humans. However, at its core, it teaches children characteristics like kindness, love, and duties. Also, it gives children a sense of protection, love, and acceptance by their environment, which are characteristics that help build a healthy sense of self-esteem in children. The lessons are beautiful and the twists, exciting.

The Movie Chair sounds like a heartwarming and imaginative story that explores themes of companionship, empathy, and the longing for connection. The concept of a chair with feelings and actions is both creative and touching, likely resonating with young readers and reminding them of the importance of empathy and support.

The book seems pretty inspiring for both children and adults. It teaches them how to be kind and treat others well among other valuable lessons. I hope the chair will remain in its place after the renovation. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Though I am no fan of children' s books, this one seems worth reading to grandchildren. It is nicely illustrated and the " characters" are interesting.

Children are very delicate and sensitive, the book just doesn't talk about how the chair offered emotional support to kids but also illuminates on the idea that kids are supposed to be cared for and protected.

Hi,
From your review, I can sense that the chair somehow portrayed a lonely child, who has experienced abandonment and knows the pains and joys of a child. The book conveys a heartwarming hug for those who feel lonely at some point and that you are not alone.

This is a terrifically captivating idea for a children's book. Being a huge movie fan, I'd snatch up a copy if there were any little ones in my life with whom to share it. Congrats to Ms. Borkin on her achievement!
