" Hear me, my chiefs!Bighuey wrote:I Will Fight No More Forever with James Whitmore and Ned Romero. An account of Chief Joseph leading his tribe to escape to Canada to avoid being sent to a reservation. It was an accurate account of the history of the thing. Joseph with just 150 people, a lot of them women and children ran the army ragged until they finally had to give up just 40 miles from Canada. James Whitmore gave an excellent performance as General Howard, one of his best roles. It also had a young Sam Elliott as Howards aide. Its a keeper, this one.
