Riley Youngblood, on this day, April 22nd, 1984, being his 14th birthday, has just found a strange little booklet stuck in his neighbour's cedar hedge. It turns out to be a magical passport to a strange place called Santalamanchia in another dimension of Earth's reality/unreality. The passport has Riley's name and picture in it. It is meant for him! After dealing with a couple of issues involving his friend Rick, and his enemies from the other street, Riley embraces the pull of the passport. Riley Youngblood was very creative and fun to read and kept my interest all the way through. Riley took on many adventures with courage and bravery and proved that anything is possible when you follow your instincts.

Riley is the chosen one! The ancient spirits chose him to help them. He embarks on a journey to Santalamanchia and has a roller-coaster ride filled with adventures. At one point, he saves people riding on a giant dragonfly. The dialogues are relevant to the characters. Go on a magical adventure with Riley! Beautiful review.
