What an intriguing plot: romance, sci-fi and mystery. It’s an interesting book, with parallels to how our earth is in the present day. Lovely new vocabulary in this out-of-the-box novel.

This book sounds like another story of forbidden romance written in the backdrop of the alien world. Looks like this book explores prejudice and sensitive issues like suicide. This book would be an exciting read for people who love this genre.

Today's book appears to offer an interesting take on alien romance. It appears to explore love and relationships among different species in a biological, cultural, and social context.

I love aliens in any genre, but certainly not Romance, because to me, it all sounds like elaborate rape stories. I mean, come on - he literally grabs her, takes her home and forces her in mating, basically kidnapping, trafficking, incarceration and deprivation of free will, but eventually she will love him. Are you real? What kind of signal do you send to readers? Stalking is good and the truest manifestation of love is Stockholm syndrome?

"Alien Bonds" by Carmen Webster Buxton. An interesting romance book between a Terran and a Wakanrean. Terran and Wakanrean's relationship are unacceptable by the Wakanreans. The characters are great and their role suit them. A great science fiction story full of romance and fantasy. Congrats on your #BOTD.

The book sounds very interesting and it describes not only the romance between the human woman and an alien, it has a deeper meaning as well which is to show the effect the biology can have on culture. I happen to have already purchased this book but still haven't read it. So I believe it's high time. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I admire the creativity of an author in crafting a distinct group with its own culture and language, as exemplified by the Wakanreans in this case. Furthermore, I appreciate the attention to detail wherein specific terms from their language are highlighted and accompanied by definitions in a glossary.
