I enjoyed reading your review, as it told me things about the book I needed to know. I am not usually a fan of fantasy novels, but you have piqued my interest in this book. I am curious how the main character, Piper, saved her friends and herself in the accident that could have taken all of their lives. You wrote that Piper manipulated the very essence of the car to avoid the accident. You have me hooked, and I am anxious to find out how Piper was able to do this and what the essence of the car is. Great Review! Thank you for sharing!

Piper took responsibility for and care of her younger brother after her mother passed away following cancer. Her father became an alcoholic. Her boyfriend, Chris, breaks up with her a few days before her birthday. She storms out with her friends Lisa and Josh after an emotional encounter with her boyfriend. She saves her friends by preventing a car accident. The auras and lights she hears and sees are mystifying. Her neighbor Esther knows the reason, along with Piper’s destiny. Will she embrace her destiny? This fantasy novel has a rich layout of the magical world. Though the vague descriptions of the magical beings are off-putting, the story seems interesting. That was a wonderful review.

The mystery of where piper got her abilities and what it means makes this story fascinating. I'm sure following Piper as she understands her new abilities would be interesting. Congrats on botd!!

Street's Prophase: A Present Tale offers an imaginative coming-of-age fantasy centered around a relatable heroine in Piper. Her world is upended when mysterious powers awaken on her 18th birthday, forcing her into a hidden world of magic and fantastical beings. Street builds intrigue around Piper's emerging abilities and new supernatural connections. However, the extensive introduction of new characters and realm details at times feels rushed. With more nuanced world-building and character development, Street has the makings of a captivating urban fantasy series. Piper shows promise as an anchor, and fantasy fans will enjoy immersing in her journey of self-discov

Awwww ..I was hoping for a five star review. I read a little bit of the sample pages. I really loved what I read. I will definitely be checking this book out. What attracts me to a book is how connected I feel to the main character. I was definitely attracted to Piper and I want to know the rest of her story!!

Street's skillful storytelling effortlessly transports readers into Piper's shoes, making her struggles and triumphs feel personal. I found myself rooting for her throughout the narrative, eagerly turning pages to uncover the secrets of her newfound abilities.
I believe in something greater than myself.

This is a well-written and informative review; I appreciate the detailed exploration of the novel's storyline and core themes, particularly Piper's navigation through personal loss, her surprising awakening to her abilities, and her ensuing search for self-understanding and fate.

Prophase thrustsaverage teenager Piper into a turbulent supernatural world in an engaging hero's journey. Street effectively turns Piper's 18th birthday into a catalyst for her latent powers manifesting in exciting ways. The story captures the disorientation of her sudden immersion into a reality filled with magic and mythical creatures.

Slowing down to flesh out pivotal supporting characters and historical details would offer helpful context. That said, Piper shines as the emotional center amidst the supernatural chaos. There is promising potential for fantasy fans in this first installment if later books expand the fascinating magical realm.

An intriguing review, thank you. The excerpt from Amazon gave me a sneak peek into a magical and mystical world. Prophase appears to be a cross-generational novel and will appeal to teenagers and adults alike who fear an uncertain future.
