The story sounds incredible. I am wondering why her boyfriend chose to leave her, leading to such devastation. I am glad that in her awakening, her neighbor Esther was there to guide her, as the period must have been filled with confusion. Another likable trait is that she had been demonstrating responsibility even before then, for instance, by taking care of Charlie. Thanks for the review.

She is going to uncover a world she never knew existed. A world that is very much in turbulence within itself. Nice review that tells us all about the story. Sounds interesting.

There are plenty of twists and turns along the way, and the ending is both satisfying and surprising. Congrats on #BOTD

I appreciate getting an overview of the plot and main character Piper, as well as your insights into the world the author has created. It's very helpful to know going in that while there is an abundance of creative ideas at play, the story could benefit from more.

With the book's title being "Prophase" many would expect its content to be about biology stuff when it's a beautiful coming-of-age fantasy novel. Piper's good intentions and additional extraordinary abilities make her a magnificent character I would like to follow in the book. Congratulations BOTD!

I have a theory that Piper's supernatural abilities have something to do with Chris breaking up with her. He might know something important. Otherwise, I don't see why they would confess the truth on school dance to each other.

Piper's resilience in the face of adversity, from caring for her brother to dealing with her father's alcoholism and now unexpected supernatural changes, showcases her strength and determination. Her character arc seems poised for significant growth and development throughout the story.

‪Prophase: A Present Tale by Mitchel Street. The story delves into the transformation of Piper Walker, an average high school senior as she discovers a world she didn't know existed and who she is. A fascinating story. I recommend it to anyone who is a fantasy genre enthusiast.‬

Piper's story is quite interesting. This is a common story among eldest daughters; having to take care of their siblings or parents before they're even old enough to drive. I can only imagine how she felt after discovering she had abilities that were beyond normal. I'm wondering why Piper's boyfriend broke up with her knwoing they will be going to the same college. That must have been very painful. I like the cover of the book, it's very pleasing to look at.
